Welcome to Wednesday's Double Page sketches for Sketchtember! I will be using primarily Page Maps, my go to for quick inspiration when I am stuck! I love that they they keep all their sketches archived and available online. I choose the double page sketch from August 2022 for my inspiration. I am working on our Hawaii album from last November, so one or more of my layouts may include that trip Each twist on Wednesdays will involve your journaling. I think it is important to get the basics down, and include the date too! For this week's twist journal on strips! I used Scrapbook Customs papers and sticker, Thickers Rootbeer Float Vinyl Stickers (ancient! needed additional wet glue to stick to the page), Nuvo Dandelion Yellow, Carnation Pink, Bottle Green. I have a stash of flowers and leaves that made for very quick embellishments!
If you are playing along with a Quarter Three team this quarter you may earn the following points: 5 points for completing the sketch using either side of the sketch 10 points for playing along and using the sketch as a double page layout. 1 point for using the twist on ANY project you create 2 point bonus for using the sketch AND the twist on the same project (total of 8 points for the combo for a single page, 13 points if it a double page. ) Completion Bonus: finish all 30 sketches, with or without the twist, before end of day October 7th, for a bonus of 500 points!
Now that school is started and you "may" have more time to spend at your craft table let's all play along and have some scrapping fun!

Gorgeous layout angel97701 , I love the blue and green with splashes of pink - so pretty! This sketch is very versatile, and I can see myself using it a lot. I ended up changing the two bigger portrait photos into four smaller landscape photos. I took these photos on my walk with a friend last Thursday. We couldn't believe how many roos were out, and most of the females had joeys. Today on our walk we didn't see a single roo.

Here ya go, angel97701! I flipped the sketch left to right and set the two photos one on top of each other rather than side by side. This photo looks a bit off kilter, but I *think* the pages themselves are straight Watermelon Grins by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Thanks for the sketch - I'll go back and do the 2-page version later but the right side was perfect for these pictures - I used Photo Play Meow and I'm claiming the twist

I think your paper choices are great for the photos, especially the peacock paper! Where in the world did you find that?
