Do you have a favorite and preferably one with warm tone...that somewhat matches Neenah Classic Crest 110 lb cardstock? LOL. I bought these from Amazon. They are lovely. Nice thickness, super smooth and have an adhesive strip. But, they are a very cool toned white. When compared to my cards, they make my Neenah almost look like a cream colored cardstock. EnvelopesExample...  Maybe I'm too picky? But non-matching whites annoy me (anyone else?) |

I buy Classic Crest Solar White A2 envelopes on Amazon. Do you use the Solar White cardstock?

These envelopes I buy in bulk from ClearBags are a really good color match for Neenah cardstock and they're also heavy weight so they hold up better for handmade cards with some dimension or embellishment. linkA lighter weight recycled paper option they have which also seems like a good color match for Neenah here linkClearBags is great if you buy envelopes in bulk for donating but might not be cost effective if you're buying small quantities because they do charge for shipping. |

You can get samples at Clear Bags. I found that very helpful in getting just the right color envelope, or in the case of clear bags (lol), the right size with the right weight. Even though they are very precise with their measurements, holding the bag and "testing" ensures you get exactly what you want.

A while back joblackford sent me samples of a few clear bags envelopes. I put 2 of them on a piece of Neenah solar white in the photo below. The name of each is on the flap of each envelope in pencil, but if you can’t read it, let me know and I’ll add them in comments. The one on the right (basis) is thinner than the one on the left. Hope this helps a bit!  |

Wow! Thanks for the tip, cmpeter. The Gina K envelopes are so reasonably priced that I'd be willing to take a flyer on some colors in 10-packs (I was kind of hoping for a variety pack), except that all the colors I'm interested in are out of stock -- too late to the party! |

When I've bought variety packs there always seems to be too many colors I wouldn't actually use. I bought this pack and the bright colors are just too bright for me. Amazon Envelopes |

In the past, for colored envelopes I have used the Paper Studio line from Hobby Lobby - at 50% off they were $2 for 12 envelopes and they were great quality. The last few times I have been in there they have only had one or two colors so not sure if they are discontinuing them or what. They had some fun metallic and holographic envelopes too that were neat. I also ordered some Taylored Expressions colored envelopes in November and I really liked them as well. Great color selection - $4 for 10 envelopes. They also carry the mini slimline color envelopes - that size can be hard to find in colors. I bought some of those & they are great too. Most of the color envelopes I have bought from Amazon are on the thinner side. I still use them but they don't feel as nice as the Paper Studio/Hobby Lobby ones in my opinion. |

I'm hoping for variety packs, which I don't think I saw at TE, at least in A2. They did in mini slimline, but I wasn't feeling ready to branch out.

My assorted envelopes from Michael's arrived (https://www.michaels.com/pa-paper-accents-super-value-4.25in-x-5.5in-envelopes-75-sheets/D331331S.html).
Oh, my goodness, are they EVER assorted! They differ not only in color, but in thickness/quality as well. There are a few rather thin and boring colors, but there are some very thick ones as well, including a few colors with some sheen or texture.
