Welcome Foolish Mortals Halloween swap. Max # of participants is 12 (plus me = 13). Rules: Make 13 of a paper creation. Max size is 5” X 7”. Any shape is fine. Halloween theme of any kind from spooky and scary to cute and fuzzy.
Feel free to include a mini gift for each participant like a small bag of sequins or a die cut. I don't mind going over the $3 for shipping to make this extra fun. I've got some ideas for this as well.
Mail me all 13 creations and make sure to include your address in the envelope. Include $3 cash for postage or Venmo me. You must ship by Oct. 1 with tracking. I don't expect them to arrive Oct. 1 but they should be postmarked by then. As soon as I get them I will sort and ship them out. Hopefully this will happen by Oct. 10. Everyone will get one full set of 13 pieces. To sign up, post here. I’ll cut off when I get to 12. PM me your address and I will send my address back as well. Because this is getting such a late start, I don’t think international will work unless you want to pay for quick shipping. 
I'll make any updates to the rules in this first post.

blemon do the 13 items need to be exactly identical? Or as long as they are all the same type of thing, like tags or rosettes, etc?

No, they don't have to be exactly the same. I don't think I have enough embellishments to make mine exactly the same. But they'll all be similar. |

I see happy mail ppl sending bag toppers ,wands, banners, rosettes, clusters of embellishments. When I used to participate in the Disney swaps, we would usually create embellished tags, decorated and layered titles, larger embellishments (such as cutfiles already assembled and embellished), rosettes... so many options! Sometimes we even did mini kit swaps, where everyone made a title, embellishment, decorated photo mats, and a journaling card for each person. I could try and find some of my swap pieces and post some photos, if you would like. |

And do we do that as the main item 13x and then also include other small fun items to use?
Just want to make sure I got this right. I have some ideas but want to know if they are correct.
And is it okay if I mail on Oct 1 priority? I won't be able to mail sooner.

I think it's fun to get mail and I'm doing October Daily for the first time this year and thought it would be fun to document. I'm going to be making a 4X6 card. It can fit in a pocket or it can have a hole or two punched in it and it can fit in an album. I just feel like being creative and this gives me a reason. Would love to see some pics! This sounds fun! I made that the max size since I already have these padded envelopes that will fit a bunch of 5X7s. So anything smaller is totally fine. Oct. 1 priority is great. And yes, main item X 13. If you want to include other stuff, that's great. But not required. I know I have some fun extras that I'm going to include but it's not necessary. Hope you can join! |

My daughter wants to join! She's 14 and does amazing hand lettering and is a whiz with wax seals.
Are there any quotes you would like to see?
She can do something custom for each of you.
We do have orange and black paper (I think black, I'll have to check). Also purple, most colors.
She has some cool metallic markers. They look best on dark colors.
