I did the same thing, kind of a flat lay. I'm going to make a page of this in the October Daily. I've already been using the bits and pieces in layouts. Really fun.

I haven’t had a chance to open everything up yet but my package arrived today AND so did my long lost mittens!! (REI sent a shipping email this morning, Oct 11th, telling me to expect them on Sept 29 🙃!)

The creativity and generosity swapped around......almost brought tears as I looked through and touched everything. Unbelievable. And blemon , tell your daughter she picked a perfect quote....."This is Halloween". Jack Skellington would be proud! Thank you all so much!!!!!!!! |

EI sent a shipping email this morning, Oct 11th, telling me to expect them on Sept 29 Ha! That's hilarious. My friend just got a job doing photography at REI. They're located in Seattle. You should have had those gloves like two days after you ordered them. He loves it there. He says it's a great company to work for. And blemon , tell your daughter she picked a perfect quote....."This is Halloween". Jack Skellington would be proud! Thank you all so much!!!!!!!! So so so good to hear! I feel the same way. Everything is so great. And I will tell her you love the quote. I think she made most of them different. I chose a Trick or Treat one. Some she made with lots of words, almost like a pattern. I LOVE everything that was made for this swap! I already have some ideas in my head of what layouts to make with these pieces. I plan on making a page kit for each little baggie of happiness I received. Hopefully I can get started this weekend.

Everyone, thank you so much for your lovely creations and blemon, thank you again for hosting! I keep looking through everything over and over again and admiring all of the details and techniques. I've never participated in a swap and freaked out a little the night before the deadline when my puppy chewed up some items and I had to pivot. Life has been a little rough lately and this package of Halloween cheer was such a joy to receive. I'm very much looking forward to using everything! |

I’ve only opened one of the swap items thus far. I told myself I had to get all my card swaps done before I could start playing with the swap goodies I received! I just finished them tonight. My BFF loves Lawn Fawn so I used the adorable bats, shaker moon & patterned clouds from sarahsprettypapers to create a Halloween card for her. I know she will just love it! I have the next 4 days off from work so plan to do a lot of crafting this weekend. I can’t wait to see the rest of the swap goodies - hopefully tomorrow!! |

Even after a few days, I still go in and sit and just sift through all the things!!!!! I have not scrapped in years, but may have to dip back in to some type of album for all the goodies. I want each person's embellishment to be a feature on a future layout. 😊 Page kits are also a great way to divvy up all of the Halloween paper one may have purchased last month without one's husband's knowledge. It is easier to hide this way... 😄 |
