Anyone doing it? I am considering participating. I really like the teachers and I need more holiday cards. I like that you can buy the bundle or just the pieces you want. I don’t typically buy hero arts projects but I’m intrigued. Anyone else done one and liked it?

I did the first one they had back in summer 2021. IIRC, we made eight cards, two each using four stamp sets. I mostly used stamps I already owned, treating myself to one stamp and one stencil, and using inks from my stash. It was a jam-packed one day event. I think it was $25.
If you like the card designs (they only show a snippet of it) then do it. I don't regret the $25 spent.

Thanks for the opinions. I did end up signing up and used my 10% off code from crop and create justifying my terrible spending habits that the bundle was 20% off and I got an additional 10% off that price.

I signed up. The cost of the class went towards the $75 for free shipping. So I had to buy a couple of things.
Code HERO10 took $10 off so I had to had $85 total to get the free shipping and the $10 off.
And that is how I justified the purchase of a couple of stamps 😂

I’m so excited for this weekend! I haven’t taken a class, online or in person, in forever. I’m only going to make a few of the cards because a couple aren’t my style. I’ll still watch the class though and finish up some cards.
If you signed up for this, have you done the homework? I’ll admit that I have not. I hope to tomorrow night though.

I am doing this event and it’s fun so far. I liked that on Thursday Libby had a craft along live and we did all our homework for the event together. Last night was a craft along tag making that I have not done yet. I like that you make 10 different cards with 20 teachers. They also have a great line up of teachers.

But it was really technique heavy with some cool techniques I’ve never tried. Like using hero wax to make a sentiment. And then using it to add shine to a background and then add glitter. Also using dye inks as a rainbow on an image by just smooshing them on and using water to blend them a little. Just some cool new techniques. If you search hero arts stamp a long on instagram you see one of the ornament cards. |

It's now in my cart at SSS along with their Festive Feathered Friends stamp & die bundle (but not the full card kit). I have birds on the brain or something  |

I have birds on the brain or something I rejoined FB (after 8-ish years away) just for events like these. I have no FB friends, and ONLY use it for these events. I used a email account i created just for this FB account. While initially I was frustrated about it, it’s really not a big deal IMHO. FB (now known as Meta) gets literally no info about me from my account other than that I’m a card maker. I don’t even use my last name. |

I have started to re-create an account for those sorts of reasons, but I always stop when it asks me to send "any photo" of myself so that they can confirm my identity. That they can confirm my identity from a random photo just makes my blood run cold....
