Happy weekend everyone! Today I have made a sketch from another layout by suzlee72. This is the original layout: YikesHere is the sketch:  I actually had a different sketch and layout all ready to go for today. But today is my son's 18th birthday, so I decided to do a birthday layout using photos we took at our family dinner yesterday. Here is my layout:  The twist today is a Tic Tac Toe. Today is also AFL Grand Final day, which is Australia's equivalent of the Super Bowl (but better  ). My Tic Tac Toe this week is AFL themed. The Geelong Cats (blue and white) are playing the Sydney Swans (red and white). Choose any three items in a row from this grid to claim the twist points:  Row 1 - Colours: red, white, blue Row 2 - Embellishments starting with: A, F, L Row 3 - Patterned paper: stars, stripes, hearts If you're playing with a quarterly team, claim 5 points for using the sketch, one point for using the twist on any project, and a bonus of 2 points if you use the twist with this sketch. |

Yes, unfortunately I am awake at 4:21 am Pacific time! Yuk, in my no sleep pattern right now! But love this sketch and will be using it for a facing page for my Pearl Harbor photos with the Red, White, and Blue! Thank you for this great sketch AussieMeg |

Thanks, AussieMeg for another fun sketch! I need to put my thinking cap on to figure out what starts with A, F. L. A-- alpha stickers, alpaca? F-- flare, feather, L-- lightbulb, leather, I could look for an old thread with several rounds with the whole alphabet, but that might take even more thinking to figure out how to do that... |

I'm imagining using tags up top instead of photos...the cute tops poking up from the dividing line...I have so many cute tags!
Love the multi-photo possibilities here! Your layout is wonderful.
Alphabet options:

Linda yes you can use brand names, and even colours eg. Aqua, Fuchsia, Lilac. kitbop has given some great ideas for embellishment types, brand names, techniques etc. I hope this gives you a few more ideas grammadee . kitbop if I wasn't a digital scrapper, and wasn't able to resize photos so easily, I would probably change the small photos up top to tags or banners too. Neisey I loved his curls so much, but to be honest I was glad he cut his hair. The curls had pretty much turned to dreadlocks. Not deliberately, but through lack of care!

AussieMeg , thank you for this challenge. The red, white and blue worked perfectly for my page. Thanks for hosting the challenge. You have love in the gallery. Linda , aren't those 3D printers amazing? My DSIL has one at work and had made specialized items for his kids. Amazing. Annabelle looks like she could be a fencer. She's really got the stance.
