I don’t have any right now but I love plaid pants. They remind me of my Papa, he always wore them golfing. The crazier colors the better.
I have a plaid midi length skirt that I absolutely love, counting down for more appropriate fall weather so I can wear it!

I’ve never had any plaid pants. My first thought was no way. But, I do wear a lot of leggings and maybe some plaid ones for winter might be fun. If it brings you joy - go for it. 😊

I’m wearing some right now!
A pretty plaid with blue, and camel and cream and some other colors. With a cream blouse and a camel blazer.
I think I look pretty good!

I was trying to think about what I have for plaid pants right now: Red/black/grey/white leggings (can be Christmas-y, but I do wear them outside of Christmas) Maroon/White/Black leggings Cream/Tan/Brwon/Maroon pants with a slight flair (these are somewhat plaid/houndstooth adjacent) The leggings I wear with tunics or simple single-colored dresses, and the pants I mostly wear with a single-color chunky sweater or cotton shirt/blouse. I honestly think I have at least a dozen plaid tops (some just have some plaid on them...not all plaid) I have two pairs of plaid shoes (the Dudes from the other "what have you bought" thread and Chuck Taylors) I also have a Burberry headband (and a small Burberry purse purchased a LONG time ago) I think that is it for now, but I guess I didn't realize how much plaid I currently have. If I go back over the last 35 years, it is an alarming amount. It kinda makes me sound eccentric

I have a pair of slim fitting, ankle length pants in a dark navy blue and forest green plaid. I wear them with a navy blue sweater, and I think they look really sharp.

Apparently every time Sharla posts a question about clothes, I’m gonna answer with a pic. Yes I do (have), and yes I do (wear), and here’s a pic from Sunday to prove it. 😂 I also have a black/blue plaid and a red/black.

I think it’s kind of funny… it seemed like the overwhelming response to the overalls was that they were not flattering because they are shapeless and don’t follow the curves of our bodies, and the response to plaid pants is that they’re not flattering because the plaid doesn’t stay straight and follows the curves of our bodies. 😂

Nope, not my style. But I have a friend who rocks them with her Doc Martin's at 45 years of age. I’m your friend in 13 more years! I’m 58 and have a pair of red plaid pants that I wear my Docs with. I normally wear that sound the holidays though. I’ve have plaid work pants in the past. I’ve seen a couple of pairs of plaid pants in with the new fall clothing coming out that I really like. Try a few pairs on with a couple of shirt options and see what you think. I think you’ll love them!

If I was skinny, yeah I think they can be cute. I'm a bigger fan of plaid flannel shirts. I prefer to wear darker colors of pants because my weight is in my butt and thighs.

I don’t wear them as they look too much like pyjama pants.

Not since I was forced to in kindergarten. The horror. And it was a JUMPSUIT, a plaid jumpsuit with a ring-shaped pull in the front. It had bell bottoms.
I still haven't forgiven my mom for making me wear that to school. I literally cried, I hated it so much. 🤣

Not leggings but two regular and one a bit wide legged pants always worn with my Dr. Martens. I am 66 and wear them regularly to work.

I hate pattern, but especially on my bottom half. I would never wear them.

The last time I had plaid pants I think I was probably under the age of 10. And right around 10 I had patchwork pants, LOL. Since then I've always been very boring with my wear out of the house pants. I do like all different patterns in pajama pants, though.

I used to wear plaid dress pants (mostly grays) when I had to dress up for work years ago. I don't think I have any now.
