For every page you create for a scrapbook, gratitude journal, October or December Daily or any other project that expresses your gratitude for one of these prompts, claim 5 points, whether or not you include a photo.

M-5: Twelve Card Challenge posted by Eddie-n-Harley . One point per card, TWENTY points per dozen cards created in any one month. BONUS of TEN points per dozen if you meet each month’s theme.

P-1: Textiles. Use fabric or ribbon on your project.
P-2: Use your scraps - 1pt for each different scrap used on a project. If your entire card or layout is made from scraps (except card blanks and layout background) - take an additional 5 points
P-3: Spooky Collections // Use a variety of different Halloween-themed scrapbook lines on your project and take 1 point per different spooky collection/kit used!
P-4: Jolly Collections // Use a variety of different Christmas/end of the year-themed scrapbook lines and kits on your project and take 1 point per different Christmassy collection/kit used!
P-5: Hot New Stuff // 1 point per brand new collection/kit you use on your project!
P-6: Do It Myself // Earn 1 point per self-made element on your project. Stamped and coloured in an image to create a die-cut? 1 point. Using a digital stamp you made yourself? 1 point. Handlettered your own title? 1 point. Stamped your own repeat pattern on cardstock to make your very own pattern paper? 1 point. And so on.
P-7: Stick it down--Use those stickers, 1 point per sticker, 10 bonus points if you kill a sheet of stickers!
P-8 Patterns Please--One point per different type of patterned paper used on your project.
P-9 Plain Jane cardstock--One point per different color of cardstock used on your project
P-10: Ghostly Layers--one point for each type of translucent used on your project, ie vellum, acetate, Tim Holtz shapes, etc.
P-11: Pre-cut borders--id felt, sparkles, paper (old style!)
P-12: Pop it up - 1pt for each pop dot or each 1" of foam tape used on your project
P-13: Boop it on - 1 point per sequin, enamel dot, pearl, rhinestone, nuvo dot. This does not include things in shaker cards/elements - they have to be glued to your project individually
P -14:- Tags, Flags, labels and banners - 1 point for each tag, each flag, each label, each banner element (like, if you banner has 6 triangles = 6 points)
P-15: - Ink I Think - use ink in any way - stamp/stencil/edge/watercolour/splatter - 1 point per colour, 1 point per technique
P-16: You've been PL-carded! // Use up your Project Life cards. Take 1 point for each card used on your project. You can use them as is or transformed (cutting them into pattern strips, fussy-cutting, tearing, etc.).
P-17: It's the little things. You know you have them - enamel dots, buttons, brad, etc. One point for each one on your layout
P-18 Vellum: Use vellum on your project. One point per piece. Take a bonus point if your vellum is coloured or patterned.
SHAPES/ICONS:
S/I-1. You light up my life! Any type of light bulb. One point for every bulb on your project. Could include holiday lights.
S/I-2: circles - 1 pt for every circle (patterned paper 1 pt only)
S/I-3: Pumpkin Patch // Take 1 point for each pumpkin featured on your project. Pumpkin-y pattern papers are limited to 2 points each.
S/I-4: Use four sides: One point for each four sided object on your project
S/I-5: Rollerghoster // Take 1 point for each ghost featured on your project. Ghosty pattern papers are limited to 2 points each.
S/I-6: Seasonal icons: Holiday icons, leaves, snowflakes. One point per icon
S/I-7: Tree time - 1pt for each tree icon or 1pt for tree patterned paper used on your project
S/I-8: S/I - bung a heart on it - 1 point for a heart or heart paper on your project. Multiples don't get extra points.
S/I-9: butterflies are beautiful - and plentiful in ephemera packs. 1 point per butterfly. 2 points if they are made by hand (stamped/die cut) and not pre-made ephemera.
S/I-10: Bzzz! - 1 point for each bee/hive/honeycomb icon on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-11: Shrooms - 1 point for each mushroom icon on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-12: Celestial - 1 point for each sun/moon/star on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-13: Under the Weather - 1 point for each raindrop/cloud/lightening bolt on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-14: Hot Bevs - 1 point for each coffee/tea/cocoa related icon on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-15: Sandy Toes - 1 point for each ocean/sea/beach related icon on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-16: Cruisin' - 1 point for each cruise ship/boat/nautical related icon on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-17: Winter Blooms - 1 point for each poinsettia/mistletoe/winterberry related icon on your project. Patterned paper counts as 2 points per pattern.
S/I-18: Scallopini: One point for every scallop border, or shape with a scalloped edge
S/I-19: Try a Triangle: One point for every triangle on your page. Patterned paper counts as one point.
COLOUR/MOODBOARDS:
C/M-1: Show your seasonal colours! Fall is the most colorful time of the year! Use orange-yellow-brown (fall), lime green-purple-orange (Halloween) and red-green-black (December holidays) color combinations to show your holiday spirit! 5 points if you use all three colors in one layout/card.
C/M-2: Get your inks out! One point per color of ink used on layout including ink pads, colored journaling either by hand or color choice from the computer.
C/M-3: shiny glittery fun - if it's shiny or sparkly (glitter paper; holographic; foil; sparkly gems; metallic sequins) take 1 point for each different colour/paper type/technique represented on your project.
C/M-4: black as the night - use a black background, as a contrast colour, or to mat your photos/sentiments - 1 point each.
C/M-5: Use all the colors - 1 point for each color used in your layout
C/M-6: Vintage Inspired - 3 points per creation that uses vintage inspired supplies (think Katie Pertiet!)
C/M-7: But Debbie... Pastels? // Embrace your inner Debbie Jellinsky and get those pastels out. You can use them in any way but if you use them predominantly (photos excluded) on a project of which the theme is non-traditional for pastel shades (Christmas, Halloween, Carnival, autumn, circus, etc.), take 5 bonus points!
TECHNIQUES:
T-1: inspired by…. For FIVE points, Create a project inspired by something you see around you IRL. Check out the latest issue of SCT in print or on line to get some ideas.
T-2: Stamp it! 1pt per stamped image or sentiment (individually stamped letters are also 1pt each). Bonus 5pts the first time you use a stamp this year - make it 10 if you've never used it before
T-3: Screenshots fired // Give yourself 1 point per screenshot on your project. Also counts for images of book covers/music albums, movie posters and the likes gathered on the net.
T-4: Layer it up! One point per layer, up to the highest number on the project.
T-5: Stencils--Seems to be the flavor of the season, so let's get them out and use them on our projects. Either with mists, inks, pastes, etc.
T-6: Punch on it--Both any shape and border shapes. One point per punch used.
T-7: Lets get cutting - 1pt for each manual die cut or electronic cut file used on your project
T-8: tear it apart - 1 point per torn edge
T-9: fussy cut - 1 point per item
T-10: Colour - use markers to colour a stamped image, recolour something on your card/page, or doodle - 1 pt/colour used
T-11: Gridlock - 1 point for including a grid on your project
T-12: Cut it OUT! Time to go back to our scrapbooking roots, grab a photo, and CUT SOMETHING OUT OF IT! Use what you cut out on a page or card or other project for one point per cutout. You can use a punch, a craft knife, or scissors, or maybe one of those CM shapes and their cutting system. Cut out a face or punch out a letter or a heart or...
WORDS/ Titles
W/T-1 Chatty Cathy // Journal your heart out. 1-10 words = 1 point, 11-25 words = 2 points, 26-50 words = 3 points, 51-100 = 4 points, >100 words = 10 points.
W/T-2 And I Quote // Quote someone, song lyrics, a movie, etc. for 1 point
W/T-3 Pun-tastic // Earn yourself 1 point per punny mention. If you use a pun for your project title (or main sentiment on card), take 5 points!
W/T-4: No more words - 1pt for being wordless on the front of your project (inside sentiment on a card or journaling that is hidden on a layout is okay)
W/T-5: Creative titles. Use alliteration or rhyming in your title, 2 points
W/T-6: Use a title/subtitle - 2 points
W/T-7: Use 3 or more words in your title for 1 point per word
W/T-8: Serif/Sans - 2 points for using serif AND sans serif fonts in your title/sentiment. Take an extra 3 points if they are also NOT the same color!
W/T-9: Spell the months. In your title, count one point for each of the letters in October, November, December. Claim a bonus of FIVE points if you spell one of these months in your title.
W/T-10: Strip Tease: Do your journaling on strips
THEMES:
Th-1 ‘Tis the season. One point for any project representing the current season where you live. FIVE points if you use the name of the season on your project.
Th-2: Get Outta Town! Explore away from home - 5 points for every layout where the photos were taken outside your state (province/county/region etc...for non-US peas)
Th-3: Let's Stay HOME - 1 point for every layout with photos taken inside your home
Th-4: October Daily // Take 1 point per October Daily/Occasionally page (any year). Challenge works for any Halloween/Spooky Season project in general. Bonus 5 points if the page is from 2022. Bonus 50 points for completing the entire 2022 project by the end of the quarter.
Th-5: December Daily // Take 1 point per December Daily/Occasionally/JYC page (any year). Challenge works for any Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Festivus project in general. Bonus 5 points if the page is from 2022. Bonus 50 points for completing the first 24 days of December 2022 by the end of the quarter!
Th-6: I Zoo Love You // 1 point for each animal-centric LO. Take 5 bonus points if ALL photos on your project feature at lleast one (non human
) animal so dig out your zoo, aquarium and pet pics this quarter! Cardmakers can earn 5 bonus points if they feature at least 3 animals on their card.
Th-7: Birthday time--1 point per card, 2 points per single page layout, 5 points for double page layout, double your points if you are featured in the layout because it's your birthday!
Th-8: People - 1pt for each person in your photos or each icon/image of a person used on your project
Th-9: December 21st - Winter & summer solstice begins today, depending on your hemisphere. For 1 point, create a project with either a winter or summer theme.
Th-10: be a sport - baseball, basketball, soccer, football, etc. 5 points if you are in at least 1 picture.
Th-11: Sleepyhead: Do a layout related to sleeping. eg. sleeping baby, dog napping in their bed, you taking a nap etc.
Th-12: Garden State: Do a layout about your garden, or a nursery, or a visit to the Botanic Gardens etc.
NUMBERS/SIZES:
N/S-1: Make it easy with your 4 x 6 photos! Yes I have a ton of new sketches from SG class that I really want to try out featuring 4 x6 photos. One point per 4 x 6.
N/S-2: Make the photo big! 2 points for photos larger than 4 x 6 (ie 5 x7 or bigger!)
N/S-3: 0123456789 - 1pt for each number used on your project
N/S-4: Fairly Odd Photos - 1 point for every photo that is NOT 4x6, 6x4, or 5x7. TWO points if it is a photo that was originally printed that way and not just cropped out of a "normal" sized photo...
N/S-5: Make a cluster of 4 or more items, 1 point per cluster
N/S-6: S-T-R-E-T-C-H: Use an enlarged photo that goes across most of the page, or a photo mat that runs across most of the page with several photos on it. (If it's a two page spread, the photo/s only need to go across one page to earn points.)
N/S-7 MEGA CHALLENGE: Without the “Other” category, we have over 75 challenges to play with. During the fourth quarter, complete at least TWENTY (20) of them for a bonus of FIFTY POINTS. If you can meet at least FIFTY (50) of them, claim a BONUS of TWO HUNDRED POINTS! These challenges do not have to be met all on one project; just all of them met and claimed over the quarter.
RECIPES:
Re-1: Let's bake some cookies! One point for each of the elements AND a bonus of FIVE points for getting them all on one project. An extra point if you include an image of a REAL COOKIE.
Flour--use a white, cream or kraft background
Sugar--add some sparkle (it's okay to wear glitter this time of year!)
Frosting--smooth on some sort of dimensional element (texture paste, paint,)
Sprinkles--add some dots, gems or sequins
Re-2: Four Seasons
1. Spring - include a flower embellishment or patterned paper
2. Summer - include something round - doily, circle die cut, enamel dots, etc.
3. Fall - include something with texture - fibers, paste, dimensional ephemera, etc.
4. Winter - include something metallic - any color as long as it's shiny!
OTHER:
O-1: SPEND! It's the end of the year and every thing is on sale! Get a point for every dollar you spend on scrappy supplies and activities.
O-2: Catch up with Sketchtember! Either finish the sketches by the end of the quarter for 5 points per sketch, OR any past Sketchtember OR Sketchy Saturday. The ladies who pick the sketches and do the example put time and effort in creating inspiration. Let's honor that by participating. If from previous years, identify the sketch (either by link or a screen shot and hopefully tag the creator) along with your interpretation.
O-3: Create your own kits-10 points per kit, included paper, photos, embellishments, etc. We all know this takes time to find the right materials to make our photos shine!
O-4: Use up kits you already have from clubs or classes-5 points per kit
O-5: Socialize 5pts for each comment left on others projects posted
O-6: Count yourself IN: Include yourself in your scrapbook - 1 point for each photo that you are in, 10 points if the layout is about you
O-7: Give, donate, or mail your handmade cards - 1 pt/card add a point if you made the card this quarter
O-8: Inspiration - 1 point for any crafting video watched (YT, TT, IG, online classes, etc).
O-9: Copycat ME- make something new, using something you made previously as your inspiration
O-10: I Heart Paper - earn 5 points for each paper crafting project that is NOT a layout or card
O-11: RAK // Take 1 point for every envelope or parcel of crafty goodies you're giving away (or donating). Take 5 bonus points if you're RAK-ing your stuff to a fellow Pea.
O-12: Thrifty Nifty! 5 points per day you keep your wallet intact, double your points for each month you make it with out spending! Yah like that is going to happen with Black Friday, Christmas, and for me CKC Hillsboro this weekend! LOL
O-13: Up-To-Date: Take one point for every photo on your page that was taken in this quarter (October - December)
O-14: Copy Cat: Scraplift a layout you've seen online or in a magazine. One bonus point if you link to the original page, another bonus point if you scraplift a fellow Pea.
