The first holiday I've chosen is Halloween Your challenge is to use only old papers or scraps. You may use full sheets to cut the background piece, but everything else should be old or scraps. Points 2 per card Your twist is to make mulitiples of the same design - 2 points per card Your bonus is the give them away. Rest homes, senior centers, police or fire stations are all good to gift. I'm participating in the 2peas halloween/fall card exchange so I used this challenge to jump start the holiday card making I need to do this month. The patterned paper used is from PaperTrey Ink. I couldn't find the date of when it was released, but found a blog post from 2013 where it was used, so it's at least 9 years old. I'm taking the twist, but no bonus on these.   |

This was a fun way to start of the event was a great way for me to use the back of white card stock that had stamping errors on one side that is was in my scrap box. used a stencil on the other side. The cut-a-parts and matting cardstock were scraps remaining from an almost use Halloween line. I may try to use up the rest of the scraps from this line, but I at least wanted to get four completed for the challenge. Used the twist and made multiples. Will not get the bonus, no place to donate and not making 10.  |

MARIBETHR Wow your stencil was super effective. Is your little mummy from Stampin Up Cookie Cutter? I have the Christmas Cookie Cutter set and punch and in my mind I had the mummy. But alas, it was a separate set that I never got. But I got so attached to the idea of a cute mummy that I looked for one in Cricut Design and found the one I used. Anyway, good cards - cute, good embellisments.

gramma, what cute cards to start out Cardtober. I am eager to get going on these. You have love in the gallery. Linda, your pumpkin cards are really cute. You did a great job coloring them. What did you use to color? I love the variety in your background and banner pieces. Great scalloped circle. jjpeapea, that little mummy figure is so cute. They make great cards. Got this one done! Use some ECD dies I purchased last year and didn't use. Also, the brown paper witches, that paper is so old, I don't know how long I've had it. It was part of a swatch of papers my marketing team received in the mail about 15 years ago. Back when we printed EVERYTHING and were particular about the paper we used.   |

That black background and the green moon really add to the spooky vibe. Great job. I guess I need to buy some Halloween papers. I found 3 scraps in all my fall paper and was able to use both sides of a couple of them. I used a Sheetload design I saved from earlier.  Halloween Cardtober #1

These are the September Sheetload, but I made them in October! I am keeping one for myself, but gifting the others to a friend. I used super old paper that has been sitting unused for years, Prima Archivist, circa 2015. MDscrapaholic I also thought the green glowy moons were kind of cool. Yellow glowy moons would be effective too - both effective backgrounds for witchy silhouettes. And then some twisty cool bonus cards. Nice work! nylene, hope you weren't going for spooky - those are ADORABLE. You picked a perfect Sheetload design for this challenge. kmage - so lovely! A tag topper is so cute. Did you do all of that coloring?
