The first responder had a lot of potential but seems mis-matched. The cute images would be better for kids visiting the fire station, dressing up etc but the words are more geared towards adults. I think it would have worked better if they changed the words or images to match. My older 2 boys are both EMTs but it's not really something I could use. I do like that it's not a standard line.

I LOVE the colours of the birthday line. I am always attracted to those muted tones. That being said, I don't really have a use for birthday stuff but I might pick up the pack to use the B sides. The other collections are an easy pass for me.

I'm not really excited by any of these. If I had to choose one it would the birthday boy line - I still have a lot of birthday parties to scrap from days of yore. But doubt I'll buy any of it.

Underwhelmed by all of it. I'm tired of the majority of the Graduation lines, being black and gold. Exactly my feelings. |

Thank you for posting this, PaperAngel ! The stamps on the Valentine line look kind of sloppy. I might get a 6x6 pad from the First Responder line...could be good for making gift tags. Maybe with Steven Duncan behind this, it would've been more attractive. |

Thanks for your responses. This release is predictable in its themes, icons, color palettes, etc., except for the First Responders line that, as many of you pointed out, is an odd juxtaposition of cartoony images with serious sentiments. While I like the versatile Strong Stripes & Valiant Plaid from the First Responders collection, plus the Graduation Solids Kit, I already have similiar patterns/solids in my existing inventory. |
