Yes, I got an email about it on Saturday, I am sad to see them go, I really like their aesthetic. I have several of their stamp and dies sets and love them all. I also have a few of their cover plates as well. I bought Fall Foliage, and Poinsettias stamp and die sets when I saw the email (tried to control myself) in a rush before Crop and Create classes began that morning. I forgot to post about it here. If the Poppies set is still available, I highly recommend it! It was my first purchase from them and I really like the cards I’ve made with it. I have some other ideas with them to use with the Hero Arts set we got in our boxes.  |

I recognize their stuff mostly for popping up on AliExpress often. None of it ever tempted me to buy.

I don’t remember spending time on Reverse Confetti's website though could have since the name is familiar, and I stay away from AE other than once buying a generic item I couldn’t find elsewhere, so was actually asking. That said, my brain and I are still not completely awake. While AE sells massive numbers of items based on stolen designs, and they've harmed artists and businesses, even causing some to shut down, I've been told that some legit designers do work for them. Since figuring out legit versus stolen seems like an exercise in futility, I stay away. |

Ah, my fault for misinterpreting the message.
Yes, I'm 99.99% sure that anything that looks like a recognizable american brand of cutting die would in fact be a knockoff if bought from AliEx. As far as I'm aware no "normal" brands sell out of that platform. There are designers who work with shops but (again, as far as I'm aware) they only sell via AliExpress, and don't have USA-based stores or retail distribution. AlinaCraft is the most well known of the latter.
Many shops offer generic shapes and/or designs based on vector art that anyone can buy for commercial purposes. Looking at the sample images is best way I know of for distinguishing between the two. But I certainly don't fault anyone who decides they don't want the hassle.

I got one of their "mystery boxes" - it arrived two days after the closing announcement. The box was a very good deal, even considering the current 40% off everything sale.
Makes me sad to see a company go, especially when they put out high-quality stuff.

Apparently thats why they are closing. Too upset with the stolen design. I wanted a few things and those are gone. That's a shame, where did you hear that? I never once saw their stamp/die sets on AE. But I did see their cover dies there. |
