So much for Dr Oz credibility... Pennsylvania Senate hopeful Mehmet Oz was banned for two years from presenting research at the American Association for Thoracic Surgery conference after submitting a shoddy study that he ultimately was forced to withdraw. The Washington Post reports that experts at the AATS raised "questions about the strength of the data used by Oz, a cardiothoracic surgeon, to reach an important medical conclusion" about undergoing a cardiac bypass with the aid of a heart-lung machine. *** Ivan Oransky, co-founder of Retraction Watch, told the Post that such bans on researchers are rare, particularly if they involve high-profile researchers such as Oz.“It’s something they take very seriously and reserve for fairly significant issues, whether they’re behavioral or issues of scientific integrity,” Oransky said. www.rawstory.com/mehmet-oz-2658578469/

Former and one of his PACs is sending out false info in emails about mail in ballots.. The report cites a letter sent last week by 15 Republican state legislators to the secretary of the commonwealth expressing concern about those ballots, but an Associated Press review found those claims, which were amplified by Trump on Truth Social, flagrantly misrepresented the way the state classifies applications for mail-in and absentee ballots. There are not 240,000+ ‘unverified ballots,’ as certain lawmakers are claiming,” said Pennsylvania Department of State spokeswoman Amy Gulli. www.rawstory.com/pennsylvania-election-2022-2658581967/

What he wants is for his followers to beg him to go back to twitter if the ban is lifted. And if there is enough begging he will break his neck in his rush to get back on twitter.

What I want to know is what’s it to these people if someone is transgender? Seriously what business is it of theirs? How does someone being a transgender affect them directly in a negative way or any way for that matter?

People in this country say things like that won’t ever happen in this country. I use to think that but if We the People don’t put the brakes on what is currently happening then yes that can happen in this country. Then what?

Here’s a thought. If the right is going to push to have “ballot drop box watchers” then they must they must be
1. Mask free 2. No fire arms 3. Wearing a name tag with their name and party affiliation. In big big letters so it can be seen from distance. 4. No taking pictures 5. No writing down license plate numbers. 6. Make absolutely no contact in any way with the folks dropping off their ballots .

Some felt because those armed individuals that were hanging out a ballot drop box taking pictures of the individuals and along with their license plate it was no big deal because it’s legal to take pictures of others in public and write down someone’s license plate numbers.
Just because it’s legal doesn’t mean that it can’t be viewed as intimidating in certain situations.
Today in AZ a judge is listening arguments about this very subject.
Let me repeat this part…
”Attorney for Clean Elections USA asks the complainant if he would have felt "less bullied" if the group was further away. Complainant says it "wasn't the distance" that caused the bullying, it was the group’s "implied threat of filming" and accusations.”
You can’t tell people how they feel or how they must view something. And while some may shrug and walk on by on the way to drop off their ballots, some may feel intimidated or bullied by their actions.
Folks should be able to walk into a polling place or drop off their ballot in an approved box without feel bullied or intimidated.

I walk in to our library and drop them off. There are three employees to check to see if you have filled it out properly and if dropping off more than one that they are filled out and signed by the person dropping them off as well.

My guess what he’s going to do is charge people a monthly fee for using twitter. Kind of like streaming companies. He’s starting with the blue check guys but will expand it to include all users. I suspect he will follow the streaming companies like Hulu & Paramount+ and charge one monthly fee that includes ads and another higher fee that does not include ads.
Elon Musk is nuts but not stupid and I couldn’t figure out why he was charging the verified blue check guys a fee until I read these tweets…. Then the light bulb went off. And of course I could be wrong.
