Next Up - Thanksgiving Again - your challenge is to use only old papers or scraps. You may use full sheets to cut the background piece, but everything else should be old or scraps. Some of the papers in my samples are so very old! It's nice to get rid of them. Points 2 per card Your twist is to make mulitiples of the same design - 2 points per card Your bonus is the give them away. Rest homes, senior centers, police or fire stations are all good to gift. The firemen at our local station love getting them. Points 20 points for every 10 you gift As I was putting this together I realized that our Canadian peas are celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend. Thank you! I think I am starting to get the hang of blending. Was a bit frustrated at first but I stopped watching tutorials and just started to play around with a variety of 2 colors (3 I still have a hard time with) and then started to understand how it all works 😁 |

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to Canadian friends. Thank you for the card challenge azcrafty . So many cards, and so well done! Your mix and match scraps really went to work. Linda -the paper in your kit is so cute, and you used it so well on your cards. I like how each embellishment image has the exact right shape to highlight it. pantsonfire beautiful. Such lovely coloring, so nicely die cut.  |

gramma, your cards are all so pretty. I love the colorful images and all the various background papers. The designs you used are perfect for your images. I’d love to know where you find so many wonderful background papers. I am always drawn to the “B” sides and it seems you find so many beautiful “B” side looks. Thanks for the challenge and for hosting us. You have love in the gallery. Linda, I love the EP images you have used on your cards. All your Fall background papers are so pretty. Even though some of your cards use the same design, they look totally different because of the papers you used and the sizes and shapes of your image mats. Each is so pretty and will be loved by the recipient! pantsonfire, your card is so well done. I love the dimension on your pumpkin and the leaves tucked behind it. Your coloring is amazing. The background paper really lets the sentiment and pumpkin take center stage. Beautiful! jjpeapea, I love your mixing bowl and sentiments. Such a fun way to think about what we love about Thanksgiving. Mmmm! Great job with so many different background papers. You did a great job with your coloring. Did you stamp all those little houses. So pretty! I love all the stitching on your die cuts. They really add a touch of class. Love the sentiment! I love Fall too. I have very few Fall scraps left in my scraproom, but I have lots of old, old paper pads. For these cards I used 2 paper pads from 2012. One is recollections and the other was DCWV. It was fun finding papers that could work together. I don't use these pads often, but sometimes they contain just the paper I want.  Thanksgiving

It was fun finding papers that could work together. I don't use these pads often, but sometimes they contain just the paper I want. those came out so nice! I have that DCWV pad also - I reach for it fairly often - it has great basic paper designs. |

The images are print and cut stickers, just printed on cardstock. They make quick cards. |
