Do you have a favorite recent purchase? I just got the Stamper’s Anonymous Tim Holtz ticket booth stamps and the matching die. I love them! They stamp beautifully. I think I will get a ton of use out of these. They are perfect to add as a little embellishment. I’m seriously love. 😍

Are they new? I need to go find them. My favorite recent purchase is not here yet. I got some strip dies for making cards. Got the SB.com slimline size so they will be more versatile. It is 4 diff widths and thanks to enabling nicolep I got a 10% disc in addition to the super sale. strip diesYes, I could cut them myself, but this is so much easier and perfectly even.

A grouping of Daisy D's a dozen sticker sheets and several papers, that I got on ebay. A bunch of Creative Imaginations individual sticker sheets and a few papers, from another seller.
I think someone was getting rid of their scrapbook stash. It was "right place, right time" for me, I was the lucky buyer. Got both orders, for good prices.
Daisy D's and Creative Imaginations were among some of my favorite companies, back in the day. Wish they were still in business.

I picked up Spellbinders slimline kaleidoscope dies on clearance - I've already used them on two different cards and have several other ideas for them

I have two of these that I was originally going to use for PL cards, but ended up using them for current pages/embellishments. I have several wedding layouts to do and wanted to see everything in one place.

Lately it's been adding to my Tim Holtz collection for Halloween and now Christmas. I did get the SSS Stamptember TH set, which I really like. My favorites of everything else have been the layered plaid and twig and stump die sets (thank you J's for having coupons I could use, too!). I'm not certain if this is new from this year, but I got his Glorious Gatherings stamp set that I jumped on the first time I saw it! It's beautiful although a huge stamp!

Currently absolutely loving this Forest Tea Party paper pad from P13 (it's exactly what it sounds like, forest animals drinking tea!) and Vicki Boutin's Fernwood collection, which I'm using to make a 6x8 album chronicling life around my house.

Ooh, my last order included some mixed media pastes. I tried them all as soon as they came last week and I'm loving the Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste in "Aurora Sparkle" ( LINK). The other 2 I ordered were: Distress Grit Paste in "Snowfall" ( LINK) and TCW Stencil Butter in "Platinum" ( link). I wanted to try all of them to see what I could do with them for Christmas cards, and hands down the Cosmic Shimmer wins! It's hard to see the Distress one (center sample) as it's almost transparent, but it does add an interesting texture. I used paper that was probably too dark for it; anyway, I wasn't too thrilled with it. The photo doesn't do justice to how sparkly and beautiful the Cosmic Shimmer is (far left) - and I love that the glitter stays in place without shedding all over the place. If you zoom in you can get a better idea of how nice it comes out. The jury is still out on the TCW stencil butter (far right), partly because I was only using a cardstock stencil instead of a true stencil like with the other two, so I didn't get a very good outline. Anyway, I do love the smoothness of it and it goes on like butter, as they say. IMG_20221011_211910549_mm_sample by Wendy M, on Flickr

I bought the VB Printshop 6x8 pad for under $7 at Spotlight recently. It was totally an impulse purchase (I went in for white cardstock) but I really love it. I've kind of missed the VB bandwagon, I never really liked any of her previous collections, and only have one paper pad that I picked up on clearance, but something about the colours and the patterns in this smaller pad just seems to make my creative heart happy.

Chinagirl828, I can totally see getting that VB Printshop 6x8 pp as an impulse buy! I don't usually go for her collections either but the Printshop designs remind me a little bit of some of the good old Basic Grey designs, where they were not too theme-y and just cool geometric designs in pretty colors. The colors in this one are nice, mostly cool, and most importantly -- not the same old same old. Now I'm sorta sad that it's out of stock...< I don't need any more paper, I don't need any more paper...>

Spellbinders shopping bag die. I'm giving gift cards to the nieces and nephews this Christmas so this will be perfect. I'll make it into a card and slip the gc right in.

Black grid washi tape, it goes with everything... I found it on Etsy.
I might have to get a 2nd roll, and everyone knows a roll of washi has a lot of tape on it!

o you have a favorite recent purchase? I just got the Stamper’s Anonymous Tim Holtz ticket booth stamps and the matching die. I love them! Ooooo...these might have to go on my Christmas wish list, and I love that you could just use the dies if you did not want to stamp for some reason.

my most recent purchase is the TH stamp platform. i know, i know, i'm very late to the party but working on a bunch of xmas cards got me thinking that it might be handy to own one. i searched the board and read the posts about the Misti bruhaha. i decided to go with the TH one instead. if anyone has any helpful tips for me, i would love to hear them. otherwise, i'm excited to have a new tool to play with.

Lots of good purchases in this thread! The Aurora Sparkle paste looks amazing and I have had my eye on that Scrapbook.com pocket card organizer for awhile. I bought some 12x12 paper storage holders from Totally Tiffany. I really like having my paper stored vertically. I recently purchased a cart from Amazon and I have high hopes that this will be a good solution for a tight space I have.

I've bought a few bargains this month: Set of 5 collections by Paula Kesselring. I can't remember the price, and because I bought it on a gift certificate, there's no record on my account. But it was CHEAP! 5 x half price collections by Echo Park - 112 papers and 681 elements (embellishments) for only $30. And that is why I love digital scrapping! I also bought three different Halloween kits, which is crazy because we don't even do Halloween here! But the papers were so nice, and some of them were fairly neutral ie. not Halloween themed. Two were half price and the other was 20% off. I think I might still have some unscrapped photos of DS at Halloween when he was little. Afraid - Erica Zane Hocus Pocus - Traci Reed Elm Street - Gina Miller I also recently bought several Photoshop styles and actions from Sahin Designs for half price that I am having fun playing with: Doodle Actions - turn shapes or fonts into doodles Balloon Styles - turn shapes or fonts into scallop edged balloons Curled Styles - add a curl to flowers, flags, and leaves Ribbon Styles and Actions - turn a strip into ribbon or ric rac Vellum Styles - turn items into white or coloured vellum, and add shimmer print

I haven't tried it yet, but I just purchased and am excited to use the Close to my Heart Freshly Baked Stamp + Die set. I read a suggestion somewhere to use white embossing powder with the stamp to make it look like real gingerbread icing. This will be perfect for my Christmas cookie exchange party! I can see using them on the invitations, tags for gifts/takeaway boxes and, of course, scrapping the event.

My favorite newer purchase is the Misti. I wanted to get the TH brand due to everything I read but I knew I wanted a mini and Misti was all I could find. I love it, though, and it’s really upped my stamp game. I figured I’ve spent a ton in stamps and I should fork out the money for a tool to make them look their best. I’m really happy I got it.

I just bought the Prima Candy Cane Lane collection. I don't need another Christmas line but I had to have this one. Everything is so pretty.

I just bought the Prima Candy Cane Lane collection. I don't need another Christmas line but I had to have this one. Everything is so pretty. I really liked this one, too. I bought four or five packages of the little knit stockings to use for gifts at Christmas. I love the ones the Container Store does, but they are so expensive. Compared to that, these were a huge bargain and they are really nice quality. I just need to find wrapping paper that matches. If nothing else, I will use my old standby: kraft wrapping paper. I have recently fallen in love with Spellbinders stuff. I was at a crop in Virginia Beach a few weeks ago and I made around 70 Christmas cards using just two Spellbinders card kits. One was a mega Christmas kit but I think the other one was one of their card-of-the-month kits from last year; both were on sale when I bought them. I still have stuff left to make more cards, and of course the dies and stamps can be used over and over. I liked it so much I bought another mega kit and subscribed to the card-of-the-month kit. Really nice quality and tons of product in their kits. I am so impressed.
