Wow, that's a great update! I know her big fear, besides death of course, was waking up as not herself (I think that's how she put it). Sounds like that didn't happen.  Also, to be already out of ICU is an excellent sign. Isn't it amazing that someone can have brain surgery  and then by the next day be back in a regular room?

I know someone who, during the worst of COVID, had brain surgery (his second) for tumor removal, and was not just out of ICU the next day - he was sent home! Now, I donāt think he would have been under other conditions, but the last place they wanted him was in the hospital at that time. He was in for days after the first surgery several years before. I still think it seems crazy to have sent him home so quickly.
