What is your preferred method of storage/organization for your completed cards?
I have lots of cards made but really don't have a good storage system for them. I currently have a couple of photo boxes and another larger bin they are in with no real organization. If I am looking for a birthday card, I may have to dig in two or three areas to see what I have. I'd love to have some kind of card display rack (like in a retail store) but everything I have seen is pretty expensive.
Do you keep envelopes with your card as well? Do you use the cello bags to keep them protected?
What works for you?
I also donate lots of cards but those tend to go straight into the flat rate postal box I have until it is full.

I use a fridge bin and have labeled dividers by occasion and one for donate.
I do put the cards with a basic white envelope in a cello bag. When I go to mail one out, I might change the envelope to something more colorful or fun.
Periodically when my bin gets full I do a destash…send out my donate section, offer cards to friends/family, etc.

I have boxes from various sources, cereals, shoes, and shipping. I use a craft knife and a ruler to cut them to the proper size. I make my own envies and keep them with the card. I mostly do Christmas & Birthday cards so they each have their own container. I also have non-designated cards in a separate container. Other situational cards share a container with index cards I have made.

I don’t have a lot of cards - I send them out almost as fast as I make them!
I do store them in a clear baggie with an envelope. I’m usually in a hurry when I need an already made card. I have at the most, maybe 10-15 at a time.

I use the Pioneer photo boxes in white. I currently only have 1 box that has cards in it, as I've been getting rid of them as fast as I make them lately, but that hasn't always been the case. I don't keep envelopes stored with them and I don't keep them in bags. I haven't found that they need protection, as I'm the only one that accesses the cards. I like to make my own envelopes and have them coordinate with the card, so I tend to do that as I'm preparing to send it out. I have two of the card display racks that I found on Craigslist a few years ago. I used to check there regularly and eventually found one, and then a few months later another one.

I use large shoe style containers with snap on lids from Walmart. I do not store them with envelopes. I buy envelopes in bulk and keep them separate. I organize my cards by season and by themes.
If it weren’t for CARDtobers, though, I wouldn’t have a storage box. I used to just make them as needed, and if I didn’t have time to make a card, the recipient got store bought. I never give store bought cards anymore. CARDtober helps me keep a supply on hand.

The box I use is one that my envelopes come in when I buy them in bulk so it’s ideally sized. I don’t keep a lot of cards on hand for my own use and they’re pretty general so I just have them in there and I flip through when I need something. I do try to keep the sympathy cards together but otherwise there’s no real organization. I don’t use cello bags for personal cards, only for my business inventory, but my personal cards are also very simple and flat.

I use the stamp n storage card and photo drawer cabinet inside my ikea kallax unit. I have a drawer for birthday and a drawer for birthday slimline, holiday, slimline, then by occasion with dividers . I put them in clear storage protectors until I mail them.

I have a card keeper (plastic file box with dividers) and 2 photo keepers (4 x 6 and 5 x 7). Cards that I know I will be using within the next month go in the photo keepers, and the others get filed for future use. I bought them all at Michael's years ago.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. I think I need to organize mine into categories to start & that would help me tons!

I have a raskog cart in my loft, there is a basket in it where I keep cards that I have made.
