What happened last night in Colorado is horrible. But the problem is not enough people care enough to take steps to stop it. Because if there had been enough people that cared there wouldn’t have been as many mass shootings as there have been so far this year.

Colorado shooting... FOX.. Fox News expert said on Sunday that hate crimes against the LGBTQ+ community happen because children are not taught tolerance in elementary schools.Following a mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado over the weekend, Steve Rogers suggested to Fox News host Arthel Neville that laws limiting LGBTQ+ inclusion in schools do not help stop hate crimes. "How do we tamp down hate crimes across the board?" Neville wondered. I think it begins in our schools, our educational system," Rogers explained. "We have to do a lot of educating in elementary school with regard to, yeah, people may be different in your eyes but they're people, they're American citizens and they deserve to have the constitutional protections that all of us have."So, it begins at the elementary school level and we have to make sure that it continues throughout our entire lives," he added. "We need to stop the hateful rhetoric on the internet, by our politicians, by everyone! And we need to bring the temperature down and understand that, you know, we're all God's children and we have to respect each other." Add this paragraph: In recent years, Republicans have sought to pass laws against teaching tolerance, inclusion and diversity in public schools. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) campaigned on the state's "Stop WOKE Act" which limits the discussion of LGBTQ+ topics.

So, on the one hand, schools can't be tolerant of and talk about LGBTQ issues because that is just woke liberal snowflake talk. How exactly do schools teach tolerance, when the right want it not even talked about and instead, spread stupid rumors about children using litter boxes in school. SMDH I really hate the world right now.

How about if the conservatives and Republicans start by modeling tolerance and inclusion?

Guess DeSantis has been too busy locking up released inmates who were told they could vote.. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis' administration has declined to issue fines after over 14,000 violations of a sex trafficking law by Florida hotels and lodging establishments. An investigation published on Sunday by the Sun Sentinel found that 6,669 hotels and other lodging establishments had received 14,279 citations since a 2019 sex trafficking law required them to make modest changes to protect victims. In one case, The Plaza Hotel was cited five times after a 17-year-old girl was choked because she would not turn over all her earnings to her sex trafficker. *** The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation told the paper that no fines had been issued because the establishment had corrected the problems within a 90-day grace period provided by the law. State Sen. Lauren Book passed the law and was shocked to find out that state enforcers had required no fines. "The reason that we had the cure period was that you fix the problem, not that you fall back on your laurels because the department then gives you another 90 days after some time," she explained. "That's not the intention, that's not the spirit of the law or the intention. So it's my intention to go back and change that and not allow for that." It's not clear why DeSantis has not ordered his government to use the law to crack down on sex trafficking. *** My administration is committed to ensuring criminals involved in this heinous crime are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and victims are returned to safety," DeSantis told the 2019 Human Trafficking Summit. "While this issue remains a serious threat here in Florida, I'm proud of the great work people across our state are doing to push back." www.rawstory.com/florida-trafficking-fines/

This is from a tweet about a subject I’m too tired to figure out what their point is.
But this one term best describes those who have problems with abortion, same sex marriage, and transgenders and other things they have a problem with but doesn’t affect them directly or even indirectly.
“Moral busybody”
”My neighbors gay marriage doesn’t impact me in the slightest … unless I’m a moral busybody.”
If someone is in a same sex marriage so what? What’s it to you? Personally?
If someone has an abortion so what? What’s it to you? Personally?
If someone is transgender so what? What’s it to you? Personally?
But yet these moral busybodies think they can dictate to other how they live their lives for no other reason then they personally have a problem with whatever even though it doesn’t affect them personally.
Moral busybodies perfect name for these individuals.

They are all just plain loons! Newly elected Arizona legislator is boycotting the total results... She WON, but... you know it was fraud..... Liz Harris, who won her election in Legislative District 13, issued a statement on Instagram and her campaign website pledging that she would not vote on any bill because she believes Republicans had been robbed in statewide races, reported KPNX-TV."Although I stand to win my Legislative District race it has become obvious that we need to hold a new election immediately," Harris said in the statement. "There are clear signs of foul play from machine malfunctions, chain of custody issues and just blatant mathematical impossibilities. How can a Republican State Treasurer receive more votes than a Republican Gubernatorial or Senate candidate?"(Me: because everyone liked her better and split their votes)State treasurer Kimberly Yee won re-election to a second term with more votes than any other candidate, Republican or Democrat, while GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and Senate candidate Blake Masters both lost. Harris claimed that this was proof of fraud, and she urged other legislators to join her protest. www.rawstory.com/liz-harris-arizona/

It makes absolute sense to have a disinterested third party monitor what a business is doing when they are being sued for fraud. Ivanka tried to rid of the monitor, just for her, of course... Ivanka Trump unsuccessfully tried to get out of having a court-appointed monitor watch over her financial activity, raising concerns that she might be trying to shift assets ahead of law enforcement actions against the Trump Organization.Attorneys for the former president's eldest daughter sent private letters trying to exclude her, and only her, from the New York judge's order for the Trump Organization to give retired federal judge Barbara S. Jones a full and accurate account of the corporate structure, but Justice Arthur F. Engoron declined to give her special treatment, reported The Daily Beast. “Ms. Trump has had no involvement for more than five years," her lawyers wrote in an appeal filed Nov. 7. "Ms. Trump has had no role as an officer, director, or employee of the Trump Organization or any of its affiliates since at least January 2017." “NY AG never intended to impose an injunction against Ms. Trump,” her lawyers added, pointing out that Engoron didn't specifically identify her in court when discussing the monitor. A source familiar with the deliberations told the website Ivanka Trump was the only defendant in New York attorney general Letitia James' lawsuit to try to negotiate a better deal. www.rawstory.com/ivanka-trump-lawsuit/

Read this statement before you read the spoiler.. CBS 8 San Diego’s Steve Price reports that Voepel “once drew harsh criticism from several of his colleagues in Sacramento for comparing the January 6 attack on the Capitol to the American Revolutionary War.” A far-right Republican, the 72-year-old Voepel has been an avid supporter of the Tea Party. After a mob of Donald Trump supporters violently attacked the U.S. Capitol Building on January 6, 2021, Voepel declared, “This is Lexington and Concord. First shots fired against tyranny. Tyranny will follow in the aftermath of the Biden swear-in on January 20.” (nothing gross, just who he may be) The man arrested in connection with the attack, 22-year-old Anderson Lee Aldrich, is facing five counts of first-degree murder and five counts of a "bias-motivated crime causing bodily injury,” according to court filings. And CBS 8 San Diego is reporting that Aldrich is the grandson of California State Assemblyman Randy Voepel. www.rawstory.com/accused-colorado-springs-shooter-is-the-grandson-of-a-gop-ca-state-assemblyman-who-compared-jan-6-to-the-american-revolution/#cxrecs_s

I thought the Democrats were funneling FTX monies... On his Monday broadcast, host Pete Santilli blamed Republican leadership for poor performance in the midterm elections. Guest co-host Sherronna Bishop linked McConnell, the Republican Senate minority leader, to a scheme to fund campaigns underwritten by executives from cryptocurrency exchange FTX.*** According to Santilli, the federal government has the power to confiscate the property of anyone caught meddling in an election, thanks to former President Donald Trump's Executive Order 13848. We're talking about like they can seize the property of China," the host explained. "Now, that applies to the FTX people. Anybody associated with this FTX stuff, with the money laundering that came through Ukraine for the purposes of manipulating the 2022 election, we can seize all of Mitch McConnell's assets per 13484 that President Trump put into office."www.rawstory.com/pete-santilli-mitch-mcconnell/

Manhattan DA Bragg is reopening the case against former that he shut down.. Prosecutors under D.A. Alvin Bragg are intending to retrain their focus the hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels, who claimed she had a sexual encounter with Trump just after his wife Melania gave birth to their only son. "The district attorney’s office first examined the payment to the actress, Stormy Daniels, years ago before changing direction to scrutinize Mr. Trump’s broader business practices," The Times' report stated. "But Mr. Bragg and some of his deputies have recently indicated to associates, supporters and at least one lawyer involved in the matter that they are newly optimistic about building a case against Mr. Trump, the people said." The development comes on the heels of U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland appointing a special prosecutor who vowed to proceed quickly with two federal investigations into Trump. It's not known yet if Bragg's investigation will result in any charges. According to The Times, "...bringing the inquiry full circle to the hush-money payment, Mr. Bragg is focusing on an aspect of the investigation that previously failed to bear fruit." www.rawstory.com/manhattan-da-jump-starts-investigation-into-trump-that-previously-failed-to-bear-fruit-report/

Uh oh... Tax evasion.. The Chrisleys are doing hard time!! Inflated their worth to get loans, sound familiar?? Todd Chrisley once said that while he could fix ignorance, stupid is forever. Guess it takes one to know one," reported A.J. McDougall. "The reality star of USA Network’s Chrisley Knows Best was sentenced to 12 years in federal prison on Monday for his role in a bank fraud and tax evasion scam. For her part in the scheme, Julie Chrisley, his wife of 26 years, was handed a seven-year sentence. Both Chrisleys will also serve 16 months’ probation." The pair were convicted in June. Prosecutors detailed how they fraudulently inflated their net worth to get more favorable loan deals over a 5-year period between 2007 and 2012, cheating community banks out of $30 million. The report continued that the Chrisleys used this money "to live well beyond their means, all while shielding their money from the government to duck taxation." "In a Nov. 16 sentencing memorandum calling the Chrisleys 'career swindlers,' prosecutors had recommended handing Todd and Julie Chrisley nearly 22 years and 12 years behind bars, respectively," said the report. "The couple’s accountant, Peter Tarantino, was also sentenced on Monday to three years in prison after being convicted of filing two false corporate tax returns on their behalf. www.rawstory.com/chrisley-know-best-jail-sentence/

Special counsel Jack Smith at risk... Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) called on his colleagues in Congress to "defund" special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into former President Donald Trump. While speaking to podcaster Steve Bannon on Tuesday, Gaetz suggested that Smith should not have been appointed special counsel because his wife made a film about Michelle Obama and contributed to President Joe Biden's 2020 presidential campaign. "You would think that if the stated purpose to avoid any type of concern about bias were sincere, then they would at least check to see whether or not when you shake the family tree of the special counsel, any virulent Trump haters, never-Trumpers, Biden supporters fall out," Gaetz ranted. "This is déjà-vu all over again because [former special counsel Robert Mueller] assembled a team that had very well demonstrated bias against President Trump." One has to wonder if we shouldn't address this legislatively so that in the future — whether it's Republicans or Democrats being investigated — you don't have the very people in the throws of the political conflict trying to migrate their political grievance into the criminal justice process," he added. It was not immediately clear if Gaetz's proposed legislation would also impact Clarence Thomas because his wife, Ginni, is a well-known conservative activist who worked to overturn the 2020 election.Gaetz said that the solution in the case of Smith was to defund the special counsel's office. www.rawstory.com/matt-gaetz-jack-smith/

Of course with former there are other conflicts... In Trump’s ‘special master’ appeal 2 of 3 judges are ones he appointed – and both previously ruled against himDavid Badash, The New Civil Rights Movement November 22, 2022 Last month a three-judge panel overruled a federal judge Donald Trump not only appointed to the bench but hand-picked to hear his case surrounding the Dept. of Justice executing a search warrant at his Mar-a-Lago resort and residence and retrieving thousands of White House items and documents, including hundreds of classified and top secret documents. Trump has appealed their ruling, and on Tuesday a three-judge panel at the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals was selected to hear his case. Two of the three he appointed. Both have previously ruled against him. The judges, according to Politico's Josh Gerstein, are William Pryor Jr. (Bush 43 appointee), Britt Grant (Trump appointee), and Andrew Brasher (Trump appointee.). "BUT," Gerstein stresses, "Grant & Brasher joined in earlier ruling against him on MAL," referring to Trump's Mar-a-Lago case against the United States of America in which he both claims he is the rightful owner of the documents because they are personal, and he declassified them all. (Both claims cannot be true.) As The Guardian's Hugo Lowell puts it, "Really unfortunate for Trump to have drawn 2/3 judges for oral arguments before 11th Circuit today who ruled that Cannon 'abused her discretion' in granting him a special master." Back in September a three-judge 11th Circuit Court of Appeals panel temporarily blocked Judge Aileen Cannon's ruling barring the Dept. of Justice from using about 100 classified documents. Trump had requested the court block DOJ from accessing those documents. “We cannot discern why plaintiff [Trump] would have an individual interest in or need for any of the one-hundred documents with classification markings,” the three-judge panel said, as Bloomberg News had reported. As Bloomberg's Zoe Tillman reports, in today's trial, which begins at 2 PM ET, DOJ will argue "to free thousands of documents seized from the former president’s Mar-a-Lago estate from a review that’s kept them out of investigators’ hands for months." For those interested, oral arguments can be heard via the 11th Circuit's government website, here. www.rawstory.com/in-trumps-special-master-appeal-2-of-3-judges-are-ones-he-appointed-and-both-previously-ruled-against-him/
