Prop·a·gan·dist
noun
1. a person who promotes or publicizes a particular organization or cause: "a highly persuasive political propagandist"
adjective
1. consisting of or spreading propaganda: "propagandist films"
***someone who produces or spreads propaganda : a person who spreads ideas, facts, or allegations deliberately to further a cause or to damage an opposing cause***
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. If you're accusing someone on this board of posting propaganda, how unbelievably hypocritical. The "quote" in your signature is from an anonymous source and has never been verified. Obama unequivocally endorsed Biden and campaigned for him in 2020. Without the context or all of the information, your signature is speculation and spin. www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/08/14/obama-biden-relationship-393570Furthermore, you have time to post and possibly accuse someone of posting propaganda, but you have nothing to say about your leader's most recent suggestion to suspend or "terminate" the constitution? www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/12/03/trump-constitution-truth-social/

So there!I wish I knew who was in charge of creating emojis so I could ask them to create one of a toddler stamping their little foot in anger when they don’t get their way. I suspect I would use it a lot here.

I don't always agree with the OP, I object to the endless string of tweets and this thread isn't really a discussion, it's mostly one person posting. I have frequently objected to her oversimplification of elections, calling voters stupid, her condescension and her limited or narrow perspective from a very blue area of a very blue state. However, propaganda is more than just volume and to call this thread propaganda is inaccurate, misleading and at a minimum, a stretch. Just like the unverified statement in your signature is stretching the truth. Your cherry picking of topics, your continued support of Trump and your silence about Trump's attempts to install himself as a dictator/ king speaks volumes. In light of that, your posts are disingenuous and meaningless to any political discussion. Discussions require a basic agreement and acknowledgment of facts. No, the election was not stolen. Trump is just a loser and many of his candidates lost again in the 2022 elections (especially the Senate races). Trump keeps trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election. Acknowledge those basic facts and maybe we can have a genuine discussion. But, I don't think you're actually looking for any kind of real discussion. Most of your political posts stir the pot, then you flee the scene and sometimes respond once, or more frequently, never respond.

I have frequently objected to her oversimplification of elections, calling voters stupid, her condescension and her limited or narrow perspective from a very blue area of a very blue state. Fair enough. Let’s talk about you. I find you are a lot like Gia or whatever her current name in that you both grab the smallest piece of the puzzle and chose that piece as the hill you are going to die on to make your point all the while ignoring the rest of the picture. I said that I think the voters of this country suck at their job of voting by the choices they make. I have said it’s the people’s responsibility to create the government, on all levels, by the choices they make when they vote. Your response was excuses of gerrymandering and voter suppression. Let’s talk about gerrymandering for a second. What specific elected offices can/does a gerrymandered district affect? On the federal level. President? Nope. Senator? Nope. The House? Yes. On the state level. Governor, Lt. Governor, AG, Secretary of State etc? No. State legislators? Yes. As far as living in a gerrymandered district and choosing a representative for the House goes, an argument could be made I live a gerrymandered district because it’s solid blue and the chances of a Republican gaining traction is low. My representative in the House is Mike Thompson. I like him, he does stuff for the district and he’s not a Republican. But if he were to pull some of the stunts the Republican members of Congress have pulled I would not vote for him and hope the members of the district would agree he shouldn’t be representing us because of his actions and vote for the other guy. So you see gerrymandering is not an excuse for the choices the voters make. As to voter suppression, no one should have obstacles thrown in their way to voting. There shouldn’t be masked armed individuals at ballot drop off sites taking picture of the individual and their license plate numbers as they drop off their ballots. At the same time 30% of the eligible voters in CA sat out the 2020 election. They had no excuse except they were to damn lazy to get off their collective asses and vote. I suspect the % was just as high in other states and it had very little to do with voter suppression. And then there is that time when I made the comment/thread that the voters didn’t do their job by giving President Biden a solid a majority so he could get things done. I mean as a country we do have problems to address that need to be handled on the Federal level as well as the state and local levels. Right? Two responses stuck with me. We voted Republican because we didn’t want another FDR and I know someone who always votes for the opposite of the President. So because they voted for Biden for President they vote for Republicans for the House. 🤦🏻♀️ In this country we have the right to vote but it is also our duty to vote. And not vote only when we feel like it, but to show up at every election even when it may feel like the vote doesn’t count. I think 2016 and the election of trump is proof every vote counts. Or it should. He won my 77,000 votes spread across three states and 4.4 million votes who votes for President Obama in 2012 didn’t vote for Hillary in 2016. And I’m willing to bet those 4.4m voters were not all impacted by voter suppression or gerrymandering. Bottom line this country is in crisis. We have one of the two political parties pretending the attack on the Capital in 2021 was much ado about nothing. We have an ex-Republican President who has for the last couple of years spread a lie the election was stolen from him but offers no proof. And the Republicans in Congress have refused to call him on it. That same ex-president who has announced his candidacy for president had dinner with a known white nationalist who has said there should be no more elections but a dictatorship and to force people to believe what they believe and the Republicans in Congress have been silent. This same individual yesterday called for the suspension of the constitution and install him as President and so far the Republicans in Congress have been silent. That’s just the tip of the iceberg of how far off the rails the Republican Party has gone. This country is in crisis because of the choices we voters have made in who we elect to run our government on all levels. It’s up to us voters to fix the mess we created with our past choices by making better choices. But while the mid-terms showed some movement toward fixing the mess we created it was not nearly enough. The question to be answered is do We the People care enough about our country, flaws and all, to try and salvage it for future generations and make it better in the process? Or are We the People going to let men like trump and DeSantis and their enablers destroy the country? You don’t like it when I claim the voters suck at their job because of the choices they make when they vote. Go ahead and make a case I’m wrong. I mean go for it. I came to this conclusion by observing/noticing what has been happening these last 6 years. To be clearer I have been noticing and paying attention to what is happening in the entire country and not just what is happening in a very blue area of a blue state. For the record. Voters suck at their job of voting and are misguided. Republican politicians are stupid, dumb and idiots. I was not aware I had to post what you think I should post. I've never told you or anyone else how to post or what to post, with one exception. I have objected to endless strings of tweets because they're difficult to read. And there's an easy way to post the content without posting 10 or more tweets. My main objection to this thread is to your oversimplification of stupid voters and condescension towards anyone that disagrees with you. Gerrymandering does affect presidential and Senatorial elections. Republican held State legislatures have gerrymandered the districts to stay in power and pass voter suppression laws. And the redistricting has led to fewer swing districts and more solidly red or blue ones. Gerrymandering and voter suppression laws matter, they're not irrelevant when voters in Georgia or Texas have to wait in line for 8 hours to vote. That leads to voter disenfranchisement and low voter turnout. If someone lives in a deeply red state or even deeply blue, it's easy to see why they might feel like their vote doesn't matter. Outside of CA, Colorado and the other 6 states with all mail in voting, in states with restricted absentee voting, there are real obstacles to in person voting. Time off work, distance to polling places, need for child care, lack of transportation, even the weather or a disability if you have to stand outside for 8 hours. The argument that people should just overcome these obstacles ignores the very real barriers to voting. Voter turnout is not simply a question of intelligence, laziness or motivation. And your argument about voter turnout in CA compared to other states sounds like the Republicans trying to justify voter suppression. Just because voters in Georgia, for example, showed up and turned out in record numbers, that doesn't cancel out voter suppression. I live in a state ranked as one of the most difficult to vote in. We don't have early voting, absentee voting is restricted, voting hours are limited and there are strict voter ID laws. The state is overwhelmingly white so the recent voter suppression laws are aimed at college students instead of minorities. NH is the exception. The majority of recent voter suppression laws are based on race. Voter suppression laws are real and not nullified by voter turn out. Voters choose Republicans for an infinite number of reasons. Personally, I disagree, but I don't believe that Republican supporters are stupid. Democrats sometimes vote against their economic interests by voting for Democratic candidates, but I don't think you've referred to them as stupid. By voting for Democratic candidates, people sometimes prioritize social issues over personal economic reasons. People voting for Republican candidates have their own priorities. That doesn't make them stupid. Not wanting to have one party in control in Washington and not supporting FDR type legislation are valid reasons for voting for Republicans, even if you disagree with them. People are not stupid and don't suck just because they make different choices or have a different perspective.

If you have any uncle who ran for president, be careful what you do in public.. The niece of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was reportedly kicked off of an airplane after she accused a Latino family of being "drug mules." The Times-Picayune reports that Christie's niece, 25-year-old Shannon Epstein, confronted the family after boarding her flight going from New Orleans to New Jersey on Thanksgiving Day. According to law enforcement officials, Epstein asked the family if they were "smuggling cocaine" and then became increasingly irate to the point where airline workers asked her to leave the plane.Epstein refused, which led to the airline workers calling up Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies to have her removed. At this point, reports the Times-Picayune, Epstein became physically violent. "In the scuffle, she injured six deputies, biting one of the arm and breaking the skin, and kicking another in the groin," the newspaper writes. "Seven deputies were needed to handcuff Epstein to a wheelchair, so that she could be moved to the airport security office... She continued to shout vulgarities and try to bite deputies."Epstein was subsequently arrested and charged with six counts of battery on a police officer, three counts of disturbing the peace, one count of resisting arrest by force, and one of remaining on an airplane after being ordered to depart.www.rawstory.com/chris-chrstie-niece-arrested/Sounds like she was kicked off the place for her own poor behavior, not because of her relative connection.

And I pounded out my view of you and your shortcomings as I see them. But I deleted it, not because I don’t think it’s an not accurate description but because I don’t want to go down that road. One can disagree with someone without doing a character attack. And for some reason it bugs you that I don’t post what you think I should or I post stuff you find annoying. So once again I will suggest don’t read my threads, there are plenty others to read.

So once again I will suggest don’t read my threads, there are plenty others to read. I didn't attack your character, I criticized some of your posts. I think you're capable of posting without being patronizing. It's most likely not your character that's condescending, just your posts. And maybe if 2 people, independent of each other, on the same day mentioned your condescending posts, there's something to consider. And be honest, you do have a problem with my opinion. You argue with anyone who posts a different opinion or a different point of view. For example, the thread about California's plan to ban gas powered cars. You argued with anyone that pointed out the problems with EVs, the hurdles, challenges and obstacles that need to be overcome etc. You argued with anyone who suggested EVs are not the perfect solution. And when people reasonably pointed out the ethical and environmental concerns of mining the battery components, you dismissed or ignored them. 8 pages of you lecturing about climate change and arguing with everyone that posted problems, concerns or objections to California's policy. Instead of maybe reconsidering a bill that you will benefit from with zero cost to you personally. You don't drive, so you won't have to deal with the expense, inconvenience or potential fire risk of owning an EV.

I’m not sure what is going on in the animal world but yesterday or the day before I saw a video of a raccoon attack a young girl as she came out the front door. Her mother heard the noise came outside and grabbed the raccoon and pulled it off her daughter after a struggle and threw it into the yard and both ran into the house.

We have them here and have always lived where they run through our neighborhoods but they usually avoid people and are looking for rabbits or even small pets but not usually when they are with people. I hope she makes a full recovery and doesn’t have lasting effects from this. Poor thing I have always heard that rabies shots are horrible. She is going to be so traumatized by this. ETA. I just watched the video. A coyote had come back to the house. Dang. Coyotes are normally pack animals and nocturnal but you do see single animals out during the day. Usually they are in packs but we are seeing more individuals usually you hear that they have been kicked out of packs and more aggressive or could be sick I’m not seeing that doing a quick google though. The fact that it’s coming back assuming it’s the same one is very concerning.

Some new Herschel Walker 'fun' facts... Confused, you bet!! In a brief interview with POLITICO on Saturday, Walker seemed to mistake which chamber of Congress he was running for and also appeared to think the outcome of his race would determine control of the Senate.“They’re not [less motivated] because they know right now that the House will be even so they don’t want to understand what is happening right now,” he said of voters. “You get the House, you get the committees. You get all the committees even, they just stall things within there. So if we keep a check on Joe Biden, we just going to keep a check on him.” www.politico.com/news/2022/12/05/warnock-walker-georgia-senate-runoff-2022-00072147

Happy Monday dumpster don….
“Manhattan D.A. Hires Ex-D.O.J. Official to Help Lead Trump Investigation”
From the article….
“The Manhattan district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, is hiring a former senior justice department official with a history of taking on Donald J. Trump and his family business, as the office seeks to ramp up its investigation into the former president.
The official, Matthew Colangelo, who before acting as third in command at the Justice Department, led the New York attorney general’s civil inquiry into Mr. Trump, will likely become one of the leaders of the district attorney’s criminal investigation into the former president.
His work on the attorney general’s Trump inquiry may inform his work on the criminal investigation he is expected to join. Manhattan prosecutors have scrutinized whether the former president illegally inflated the value of his assets. In recent months, the prosecutors have also renewed their focus on a hush-money payment to a porn star who said she had an affair with Mr. Trump.
Mr. Colangelo, 48, who also worked in the Obama administration as a senior labor department official, will join the district attorney’s office as senior counsel. In addition to helping with its “most sensitive and high-profile white-collar investigations,” he is expected to focus on housing and tenant protection and labor and worker protection, priorities for Mr. Bragg.”
