7-I have wall clocks in every room plus the microwave. I hate not being able to look up and see what time it is. I have a friend who doesn’t have any clocks in her house. I’m convinced this is why she’s never on time for anything and her kids don’t have a normal kid bedtime. Can’t most people just look at their phone to see the time? I just really, really can’t stand random lights and random sounds, so no clocks. A clock ticking is one of the worst sounds I can think of. I don’t struggle with chronic lateness or time management though 🤷🏻♀️ When I’m visiting friends, I’m not tied to my phone. That’s rude.

Yea, but would you even need to know what time it is every second when you’re visiting friends?

Just two, the stove and the microwave. Everything else changed automatically, even my Kindle which I had on airplane mode. How did it know to change when it wasn't connected to anything? lol The only one left is our van, and twice a year I have to get out the manual and a magnifying glass for the tiny font to figure out how to change it. lol. It's a newer-to-us van that we bought to replace a 2002 Odyssey that we had forever. When we bought this one (and we didn't even buy a new one! Can't imagine how techy the newest ones are. ) it was like going from the Stone Age to the Space Age. lol. The old van was just one button to push to change the time. This newer one is hard because first you have to find the clock setting and to me that is not at all obvious because there are settings for a billion other things. lol

I had to change 4 this morning: - convection/toaster oven*
- oven**
- microwave**
- family room clock
* has not been the correct time for months but figured I might as well do it as I was adjusting the others ** did half wonder if I could set these to automatically adjust because they both have smart features but have never really looked at the option The massive wall clock in the living room hasn't been set for the correct time in years.

Ovens, microwave, cars and 7 or 8 wall clocks. Sprinklers and thermostat are automatic. Water softener also needs to be changed.

I have not manually adjusted any at this time. 😄. But I need to change the microwave, my Bose radio, my car, and my house phone. I am guilty of typically not changing my car’s clock and it drives people crazy.

2, the one on the oven and the 1 in my car. Technically I could also adjust the one on my thermostat but I never change it since I never look at it. Damn forgot about that one

Our clocks changed last weekend and we were away, so we actually changed a few more than usual as we changed theirs as well. In our home we have: study, bedroom, ensuite, kitchen, bathroom and lounge have battery-operated clocks, also kitchen microwave and oven, conservatory heating timer, house alarm, watch, car = 12. Maybe the clocks on DH's hi-fi system. And over the next few months we'll discover a couple more that always get missed.

We only had to do 4, (kitchen clock, microwave and 2 cars) it took about 5 min.! We much prefer to set the clocks for spring forward. It's such an easy chore that my husband and I both want to do that and make the other unload the dishwasher! Haha

We are a family of clock watchers. Ours lives are just complex enough that keeping an eye on the time is an ingrained habit and feels entirely natural.
Some rooms have multiple clocks and only a couple have none.
Plus - I love clocks. They are one of my favorite wall decorations. I love the big huge clock I have in my craft room. It’s probably 3’ across, navy blue and white and looks like a compass. It makes me happy every time a look at it. Which reminds me, that’s one of the clocks that I need to reset. Clocks hold a special place in my heart. I have 3 mantle clocks - my late father made two and his late brother (my uncle) made one. Together, they made my mother a “grandmother clock”. Oddly enough, it stopped running, never to run again, shortly after my dad died. My DD (my parent’s only grandchild) inherited the clock and it sits in her home to this day.
To answer the OP - I really have no idea how many clocks we have and how many need to be reset. There is some redundancy in some of the rooms since they also have Amazon Alexa Shows in the rooms now. I have to admit that I was super happy when I got in my car this morning and discovered that the clock was automatically reset for me. That is always such a pain to do. I think DH has to do it manually in his car. The rest of the clocks will be done as we notice them.

6 in the house. Didn’t have to change the one in car because I didn’t change it the last time change because I have to get the dang manual out to know how to change it! Too lazy or too much effort. So now it’s correct til the next time change.

I changed four: microwave, oven, clock in the bedroom and clock in the family room. I can’t remember if I need to click off DST in the car or not but I wasn’t in it today.
I have no clocks that "tick" so they don’t make any noise.

0. I intensely dislike clocks and don’t keep any in my home. We just turn the microwave to the display off option, so it’s just dark/blank when not in use. Car and phones adjust automatically. I think DH might have to manually do the one in his truck, but that’s not me. Can I ask why you dislike clocks so much? Never really knew anyone who did not want to see a clock in their home. ETA - Sorry, just saw your post above. ETA #2 - I don’t always carry my phone around the house with me. And little kids don’t usually have phones, so we had clocks for our boys. I hate not knowing what time it is, and I often wear leggings that don't have a pocket, or pants with a pocket that doesnt fit my phone well, so I appreciate having clocks all over the place. Unless I am trying to sleep. Then i do NOT want the ticking noise, or a bright ass light. The red digital doesnt bother me as much, but I recently purchased a new one with a white light and I was DYING - but I can adjusts the brightness. During the day, I can't see what time it is but at night it is enough for me. ETA: I think we had to change 3 clock radios, the microwave, the oven, a stereo system, LOL, and 2 manual clocks with hands. Oh, at least one car, but I am not sure about the other 2 - I think mine automatically changes, but I'll have to check next time I'm in it.
