We don't usually get much snow, so a good snow broom/scraper has been all I've needed, but I have seen people use a cover and they seem to like them quite a bit.
I'd definitely consider using a cover if we got more snow.

I would worry about it being stolen. I live in a small town, but car break-ins have been increasing. I love the deicer spray, but it can get costly for how much I need to use.
I have a POS van that needs time to warm up, so we just use scrapers.
