Big hugs! as moms our biggest fear is anything happening to one of our children, no matter how old they are. I hope it isn't cancer. Or if it is it's a very curable one.

Oh, that is so much to be dealing with. I will pray that your son is in the 20% and am annoyed that the doctor scared you all like that, possibly for no reason. Very best wishes for your son, your dad, and all of you who love them. sending love and hugs your way, Liz

I hope everything turns out ok. The wait has to be excruciating. I hope he gets answers quickly and it isn’t as bad as the doctor thinks it could be.

putabuttononit Just checking in to see how your son is doing. Did you get any news from his CT scan last week? Sending good thoughts your way. We were expecting results today (Monday) and he didn’t get any. The results weren’t available today. Ugh. Ds is suffering in the waiting and ended up in the ER with a panic attack. 😞 Thank you- each and every one of you. Your kind words mean a whole lot. Power of the Peas! ❤️

Cancer absolutely one hundred percent blows. This painful limbo you’re enduring is horrible because you don’t know whether to be hopeful or to prepare yourself in case the news is bad. Every parent I know would beg God to take themselves instead. Even most of the people I know who don’t believe in God.
In moments of devastation I find relief in mindful exercises I learned. I know that sounds trite and maybe even smug, and please, it’s not like that at all. I just challenge myself to be completely in the moment for 60 seconds. If I make it that far, I try for another.
I will be hoping strongly that the news is good.
