Can you believe it that this is the last SheetLoad sketch for 2022? I know lots of Peas are busy with their DD and with all the holiday goings. What are your plans for this Christmas/Holiday season? This is a pretty easy sketch if you need some help with the last minute holiday cards. Video with the free download link youtu.be/ngRPMohwBaQProcess video youtu.be/nvQvHbcC70AFor this month's extra 10 points challenge is ....just to make a card , cards or a DD layout ( I would love to see this) with the sketch. I hope you will share your creation with us. Tagging grammadee.

Pinned this challenge, azcrafty. Thanks for the tag. I LOVE your take on this sketch! That design makes magnificent holiday cards, but would work for birthdays and other events all year. Your samples are amazing. Love how you used the traditional colours in festive ways.

Oh, wow! I love these! I want to look back at all the sketches. I like azcrafty’s and the ones from the intro video much more than the 3 in the longer how-to video.
also, is there an acronym glossary somewhere? What are “DDs”?

I don’t know about a glossary but DD is December Daily where you document winter, holiday and December things each day, often in a smaller format like pocket pages or a traveler’s notebook.

DD- December Daily, scrapbookers create a journal with Daily pics and stories. LO- layouts for scrapbook pages RAK- random act of kindness cs- cardstock pp- patterned paper I can't think of anything else Thank you for your kind words. There are lots of inspirations both on YT(YouTube) and IG (Instagram). I hope you will share your cards with us if you decide to give this a go. Its a fast way to create lots of cards and now I'm using my pp instead just collecting them 😉😂

Thanks! I can’t even imagine a daily scrapbook journal.
I almost certainly will give these a try. I have a large stash of papers collected on the cheap through sales and promotional giveaways and/or years ago that I will almost certainly never use for my own purposes. Once the holiday rush is over I plan to start using these sorts of sketch formulas to turn that stash into cards to donate.
I figure it’s a great way to hone my skills, make others happy, AND make space for new materials more to my current tastes — win win win!

Thank you, joblackford! The only one I'm currently aware of is Scrapbook.com's Cards for Kindness.

Although I didn't like the cards in the video with the 6x6 paper, I thought I might have a 6x6 patterned pad I wasn't using. Dug into it and it was 8x8, mixed prints and solids. Then I remembered I had blank inside cards in some of the patterns, too. Nice enough, but definitely in the category of things I have for some reason and am unlikely to use. I figured there was probably a way to cut the pad sheets and layer them onto the patterned cards using this sketch. Add some sentiments, donate the whole batch, and clear some space!
The cards are not quite normal A2 sized --they're 5 1/2 by 4 instead of 4 1/4. I think that means I'll have to make my own template, or find another way to align the strips. But I don't think I need to resize them. Does that sound right?

There is actually a pea glossary! 2peasrefugees.boards.net/thread/955/pea-dictionaryI am not sure how much of this lingo is still in use from the original board...

Shakti I like the 3 and 4. You can always use a coordinating solid cardstock for the box to make it less busy.

I certainly could do that. I was kind of hoping that this sketch could help me use up the whole lot and donate the results.
It must be an old kit or set I bought once upon a time or something. There are 25 card bases -- five patterns and five colors, one in each combo. You can see three of the colors (blue, purple, and green) and three of the patterns (dots, stripes, and that sort of patchwork) in those photos. There's also pink/red and yellow/orange colors, and the other two patterns are stars and a floral. Then there's an 8x8 pad with coordinating solids and also the same patterns in the same colors. I don't think there are additional patterns in the papers.
I could, of course, just recycle it or donate to a school or library or some such. But I'm stubborn and quite taken with the idea of turning all my older supplies into actual cards to donate....
