I said Alito. He wants to take total control by casting doubts on the honorable people!! Although it could also been Thomas to his 'best friend's.. Liars all!
We need to also remember the major connection of them to lawyer John Eastman designer of the fake electors scheme.

We need to also remember the major connection of them to lawyer John Eastman designer of the fake electors scheme. Well, it’s not like Thomas has ever been honorable…

This is what is being proposed in Iowa.. Long ago, many the night we would have gone hungry without our 5 pound block of American cheese! Canned meats are so much healthier and cost effective... Rolling eyes here. Whole wheat products tend too also be more expensive. Pump the gluten into people who are intolerant or have wheat related health issues.

I really wish the liberal clerks who endured a bunch of public, by-name targeting by right wing pundits who decided that if you worked for the ACLU or whatnot you must have leaked had a way to get actual apologies.
Anyhow, the prediction from the beginning for people who looked at the leaked draft, which seemed like a photocopy, was that it was likely someone in one of the conservative justice's close family or friend circle. Whoever might that be I wonder.

Also the food restrictions are just gross. It's definitely not about health or we wouldn't restrict people to (ick) canned meat.

Regrettably, this has zero chance of passing with a Republican controlled House and the filibuster in place. heathercoxrichardson.substack.com/p/january-19-2023?r=1f0orz&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=emailFinally, today, Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) introduced a constitutional amendment to the House to overturn the 2010 Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission Supreme Court decision that opened the floodgates for dark money to swamp our elections. The proposed amendment protects freedom of the press but permits Congress and the states to impose nonpartisan regulations on political fundraising, support public campaign financing, and “distinguish between natural persons and corporations or other artificial entities created by law, including by prohibiting such entities from spending money to influence elections.”

While I don’t always totally agree with the Democrats agenda it certainly is true that they put people over politics unlike the other political party.

TFG/Habba has dropped the lawsuit against Tish James ... The withdrawal comes after U.S. District Judge Donald Middlebrooks warned Trump's legal team that the lawsuit was borderline frivolous. "Plaintiff, PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP, by and through his undersigned counsel and pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(a)(1)(A)(i), hereby voluntarily dismisses his claims in this action against Defendant, LETITIA JAMES, without prejudice," the letter said. *** The lawsuit sought to shield Trump's revocable trust from James, who is suing the Trump Organization for fraudulent conduct. www.rawstory.com/trump-lawsuit-letitia-james-2659286933/#cxrecs_s

I can not recognize this GOP. They are not for smaller government and or less government control at all. Fiscal responsibility went out with the billionaire tax breaks What even do they stand for anymore? The GOP platform is now just ‘I’m not liberal, let’s screw poor people.” Did I miss anything?

Another reason to admire Adam Schiff. There's a large pile of festering stink that the Citizens United (love those duplicitous names!) decision deposited under our country's flag.

Responses will get you, often... I think the part that makes me the maddest about the Republicans playing chicken with the debt ceiling - they're refusing to pay debts incurred by their party, their administration under Trump. The debt ceiling has nothing to do with current spending. Are they fooling anyone with that nonsense?

So the justices WERE interviewed. Still think it was Alito.

Yes they were interviewed BUT were not asked to sign sworn statements, because the Marshal did not feel the need... In the statement, Marshal Gail Curley said that she "spoke with each of the Justices, several on multiple occasions" about the leak of the decision that ended five decades of precedent for protecting reproductive rights in the United States. "The Justices cooperated in this iterative process, asking questions and answering mine," she said. "I followed up on all credible leads, none of which implicated the Justices or their spouses. On this basis, I did not believe that it was necessary to asked the Justices to sign sworn affidavits."*** "Sworn affidavits were THE main tool that the marshal used to secure truthful statements from everyone she interviewed because lying on an affidavit is a crime," he wrote. "Yet the justices were exempt from this requirement. The marshal's justification for not making the justices sign sworn affidavits is odd. She says no 'credible leads... implicated the justices or their spouses.' OK, but surely that was true of many of the other 82 people who were interviewed. Yet they had to sign affidavits. www.rawstory.com/supreme-court-leak-investigation/

And that's okay with them. So much for their talk of the GOP looking to expand its reach.
