Beautiful! I do not need a hot foil machine, I do not need a hot foil machine, I do not....I finished my January SLoC (adhered sentiments, decorated insides) and made a little gift folio for the set:  The heron scene was a stamp, color, cut (well, just cut for the greenery) project last weekend. The gray panel with the birds is glued to the front of the folio, but the water is the "belly" band. And here are the two sets of Paper Pumpkin cards I finished (except for sentiments) on 2/1:  Boy, does that sunflower card look dull without its sentiment.... |

pinklady - those Pinkfresh cards are lovely - and such pretty colours! grammadee - the gold accents on the beautiful bird card - just the right extra touch! justjac- that's an adorable gnomie card - I was so tempted to get some of that collection also. Shakti - I really like those angles and how you used them for both vertical and horizontal cards - tucking that idea away to use. I also love the cards with the big sentiments - great colours! cmpeter - I saw those on the other thread but hae to repeat how amazing the birdhouses are - all different and all beautiful grammadee - fun fighter plane card - I bet it was enjoyed! good job fguring out the reversed action Shakti - brilliant to leave the sentiments off for versatility - those are lovely cards! cmpeter - the kitties are adorable and I love the cutout! perfect colours for those Florida beachy cards! MDscrapaholic -awesome cards for your swap - I especially like the stamp block ones! cmpeter - beautiful flowers and you nailed that colour challenge! Shakti - Hoppy Birthday is amazaing - love the toadstools and the little froggie!

Finished a set of six birthday cards intended for Cards for Cubs:  At one point, it was going to be a set of 8, but I only made 6 bases. Then I ran out of balloons -- I think i started, stopped, and restarted this project so many times I completely lost my original vision. Maybe there weren't supposed to be so many balloons on each at some point? Dunno. |

Originally from a Simply Simple Stamping tip about a month ago in January. I had the magnolia cover die; can't remember if it's one I deliberately purchased or if it came in my warehouse sale mystery bundle. Went to make one of these a week or so ago, that's when I was whining about my SB.C rectangle dies being weird. Yesterday my HA infinity rectangles arrived, so finally done. Of course, while I was waiting for things to arrive, the new CS kit came out and their stamping blog showed some of the stamps used with Versafine or other pigment ink with Perfect Pearls. I bought my PP set back in August or September after seeing JMcGuire use them in a video -- opened them for the first time! I'm not sure it shows in the photos, but the stamping on the vanilla card is VFC Pinecone and the image on the inside has gold PP on it; the gray & vellum card is stamped in VSC Morning Mist and the image has Perfect Pearl perfect pearls (really?). |

Very nice! The embossed patterned paper on the green and yellow one is very clever -- never would have thought to do something like that, but it's a great look!

Spellbinders used to sell a nesting die set like that. I’ve been looking to buy it, but can’t find anywhere that sells it. Hoping PF sells theirs soon!

Here is my February sheet load, except it's the sheet load from CMSS:  In ended up with 13 because, well, some cutting mistakes, some usable scraps from when I started trying to make a different SLoC with these papers, going overboard cutting the solid colored yardstick. The plan is to donate to Cards for Cubs. I decided you only have one birthday a years, but there are many occasions to send encouragement cards. It turns out my 8x8 paper is actually something mind-boggling like 7 7/8 by 7 15/16. I suspect this was the source of some of the cutting issues. |
