For crying out loud. What this says is, if you donāt fall in line with our chosen narrative you will be punished. It will also, IMO, potentially stifles the intelligence community on certain issues/subjects. From the Business Insiderā¦. linkā House Republicans move to strip security clearances from any official that said in 2020 that the release of Hunter Biden's emails had 'classic earmarks of a Russian information operation'āāHouse Republicans are moving to effectively strip security clearances from any intelligence or defense official who signed onto an October 2020 statement that raised the question of whether the release of Hunter Biden's emails was part of a Russian disinformation campaign. Republicans on the House Appropriations Defense Subcommittee proposed prohibiting any funding to grant, renew, or maintain a security clearance for any official that signed the October 2020 statement as part of a much larger bill funding US defense. More than 50 former intelligence officials, including former CIA Directors Mike Hayden, Leon Panetta, and John Brennan, signed a letter in October 2020 raising questions about then-newly published The New York Post story concerning emails from Hunter Biden's laptop. Politico reported at the time that the letter was provided to the publication by Nick Shapiro, a former top aide under CIA director John Brennan. The letter did not propose any evidence of Russian action or even explicitly suggest that Moscow was behind the story. Rather, the letter said the circumstances surrounding its publication raised significant doubt.ā

Goody... Maybe someone should address those who encouraged, planned, participated in, 'fake electors, voting against seating the duly elected President, ranted and raved about 'fake election', ......

I had to look it up to make sure it meant what I thought it meant.
ālegĀ·isĀ·late /ĖlejÉĖslÄt/ verb make or enact laws.ā
The one thing she has constantly talked about is impeaching the President. So just exactly how is that legislating that she claims she came here to do? I donāt think she has brought any meaningful legislation to the House floor because unless itās tax cuts for the rich the new crop of Republicans arenāt into any meaningful legislation that benefits the American People.

Claims father and aunt posted his bond, or someone other relatives ? Guess he lied again.. he said he would go to jail to protect his bail poster... Update: Speaking to ABC News reporters on Thursday morning, Santos said his bond cosigners are his aunt, Elma Santos Preven and his father Gercino Dos Santos. It was then confirmed by the release of the documents.
So if it really was his aunt and father what is the big deal and why would anyone care? I can't imagine anyone going after his family. If it was a congress person or someone else that had a reason to keep him voting that would be different - unless of course someone gifted the money to them to then use for this purpose. He has lied about so many things that you just never know but at this point unless someone claims otherwise with proof it doesn't make any sense that he would have put up such a big stink about it getting out.

Iām sure this is exactly why those voted who for enough Republicans to take the majority in the House had in mind.
Personally when I voted for Mike Thompson it was to do what he is currently doing and that is addressing gun violence and climate change among other things. Silly me that I should expect my Representatives in Congress to actually address the issues that all Americans are facing.

The problem with the current crop of Republicans in Congress is they have a major credibility problem because of the lies, deliberate misinformation and conspiracy theories they tell and push. I mean they even admit they got nothing on the President. But it doesnāt matter because they keep pushing the untruths.
So when a whistleblower suddenly appears that is claiming a narrative the Republicans want to hear one has to question who is this person and can this person prove what he is claiming. Proof that can be verified.
So when Merrick Garland claims it didnāt happen then Iām inclined to believe him and itās because of the Republicans credibility problem that they created.

Never mind that anybody with a different last name probably wouldn't even be charged under these circumstances. But, this is their last chance to beat this dead horse, and they want to see guts strewn. If Garland has to interrupt his day inconveniently to comment, that's just a bonus.
