I found the perfect embellishment for a future page (just a few days ago). I go to try and find that embellishment and nope, can't find it. UGH.
Working on December Daily. It was an embellishment that said: Official Holiday Photo or Official Christmas Card Photo. I know I have it, somewhere. Spent a few hours looking already and nothing. I know as soon as I do this page and go looking for stuff for the next page, I will find it and just be irritated.
What is you hate it when....

I hate it when... my paper cutter won't cut straight! Most people probably wouldn't notice it, but I sure do!

I hate it when.....I am one or two letters short for a word or saying.
I hate it when, there a new product release and it's already sold out in the first day or two.

I flip through several inches of blue or green or ...cardstock and still can't find the right colour I just did this today! I ended up having to go to my local scrapbook store and fortunately they had the perfect shade I needed. My 7 year old called me out and said "Mom, I can't believe you bought more paper, don't you have those colors already?"

When you start a page, you think you have a plan and then the whole page fights you every step of the way. It just isn’t fun and I don’t like the page at the moment.
Walked away, will come back to it later.

When I stamp directly on a page/photo/embellishment and it's crooked or not a clean image even when I practice beforehand.

I hate it when it is time to edit and print photos. I will make layout after layout with photo mats in place, but just skip printing out the pictures altogether.
I usually wait for a big pile of incomplete layouts, then print photos a batch at a time. But I hate when that happens, too. Haha.
I will never learn. 🙂

I hate it when I was too lazy to straighten up my scrap room from my last scrapping session and then get the urge to scrap but can't until I clean up enough to have room on my desk to scrap. By that time, I've run out of time or mojo.

Yes! And also particularly with the reds. Or you find the perfect color, buy a pack, use it up and new packs are sold out.

Yes! And also particularly with the reds. Or you find the perfect color, buy a pack, use it up and new packs are sold out. Or you run out of dark brown cardstock mid-project, your usual source of buying cardstock packs is "moving" and won't let you order, and your local-ish craft store only sells 12 by 12 cardstock by the sheet and it's textured when you were using smooth, not that happened to me recently or anything...

I hate it when it is time to edit and print photos. I hate it when it's time to edit and print photos, and you are 2 years behind and it's the last day before costco photo printing is gone forever... (Yeah, I just hate the edit/print photo process!)

I hate it when I receive my photo order and a print didn't crop the way I wanted. I am sure I just forget a step in the process.

Wow! I hate it when all of those things happen!
I hate it when I have a nice long stretch of scrap time and can't get into a groove for whatever reason. So I sit there and get distracted. This usually happens because I have too many supplies to choose from OR I can't find anything to use among what I have, OR I am tired of working on a certain theme.

I have 3 different trimmers from different brands and I swear I can't get straight cuts with any of them! Am I the problem.... It might not be you or your trimmer. I've found that there are many paper manufacturers that don't cut their papers/cardstock straight.

… my daughter borrows my supplies and leaves the scrap room in such a shamozzle that I cannot find a thing and end up spending two hours just putting things away and cleaning up the floor.
Of course, it’s completely different when I leave everything in a mess 😇

My child decides to try a new sport and all the scrapbooking stuff is ugly.
We've done soccer for years (so tired of grass green and black) It's trackAND field, my kids did the field part... cross country (that's a sport?) bowling (why is it all retro?)
and now tennis (where every paper is the bright yellow/green color of a tennis ball)
I'm kind of tired of having to "make it work," when it comes to sports and scrapbooking...

As the parent of boys who play non traditional sports like road cycling, mountain biking, sailing, ultimate frisbee, tennis, track, cross country and rugby, I understand. Photoplay fairly recently released rock climbing and rugby collections, I'm hoping they'll offer some of the others, too. I've wanted less specific, more general sports collections for years.

When stamps stick to paper (because I didn't put the away right away), filed the paper, realized I lost the stamp days later. Spent so much time retracing my steps to try and find it and with no luck. Rebuy the stamp set (good deal on ebay) only to find said lost stamp stuck to paper months later.
I stamp found, 1 more to locate (refuse to replace it, LOL).

I hate it when...
I suddenly have the urge to scrapbook, but then remember that almost all my stuff is in the basement, stored away, and it would be a mammoth effort to get stuff out.
And I have no place to spread out like I'd want to.
And I haven't scrapped in any meaningful way for almost a year.
And I have a mini existential crisis... Am I even a scrapbooker still, when so much time has passed?
