Here is a picture heavy post of my dolls house street scene started just after Christmas. There are still loads of things to do, like a back drop to cover the shelves behind. Please excuse my awfull lack of photography skills. So from left to right on the street there is a pub with modern apartment upstairs. Pet shop on ground floor and a Steampunk style Tattooist upstairs .Bettys Emporium, named for my Mum who loved second hand stores. This house has living room and kitchen on lower floor, then the shop and upstairs is a bedroom, bathroom and nursery. Finally is Dragonfly Cottage, 2 rooms and a side garden by the seaside. I also have several other houses not shown here.

Love love love!
I'm struggling to find places to tuck all my houses now that I've got my basement finished. I used to have them all in my craft room and rotated one upstairs per the seasons.
Now they're all over and I miss having them all in one spot.

Fabulous, phoenixcov, just fabulous. The wheelie bin with the papers ready for collection! The bunnies! There is just so much to look at.

I love these! I want to see the insides of the buildings too. I have always adored miniature things. I never had a doll house as a child, and always wished I would get one every Christmas. I have made miniature things for various purposes in the past, and have enjoyed every second of creating something that looked so real and so small. I did put together a little scene for Christmas on my sofa back table when my son was little. He played with the little people and moved things around all the time. He liked it so much that we made a little tabletop scene for easter too with a garden plot and little carrots growing. I just purchased a miniature table saw for a project that I will be making. It would be perfect for those of you who have these little doll houses and occasionally need something small made for them. It cuts things 1/2 inch thick and smaller. It is only about 8 inches long. www.amazon.com/dp/B0933BRJVL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Absolutely wonderful! You have such a gift. Have you named the street or village where your buildings reside?

These are amazing. Do you buy kits and then put them together. Are the little pieces sold individually or already put together.

Absolutely wonderful! You have such a gift. Have you named the street or village where your buildings reside? The buildings are named and there is a street sign, but still in the early stages of setting up so no name of Village yet.

I could sit there for the longest admiring all the little details. Dollhouses just fascinate me. I love your concept of setting up a village!

phoenixcov Those are amazing! You might enjoy looking at this young man's (He is 13) photography! He photographs model cars, against normal size backgrounds. It's amazing what he can do with perspective! I have learned a few things from his style of photography and perspective, and I just use my phone for taking pictures! Here is his TikTok channel - you do not need to be signed up for TikTok to view them Anthony Schmidt Photography

I feel my photography doesn`t show things to best advantage, especially in the smaller 1:48th scale.
