I’ll absolutely be getting quite a lot of the Crate Paper - Gingham Garden collection. I just love it! It’s a pass for me on the other lines. AC and Pink Fresh are saving me money this Spring. I can’t wait to see the next Cocoa Vanilla collection.

Ooh, thanks for posting these! I like Heidi's line... very soft and easy to use. Those aqua wood grain papers are a particular favourite of mine - really easy to use as backgrounds when you fancy a change from white. I do miss Dear Lizzy though... and no more from my favourite lad Obed. I think there's a gap here for something more sugary. Anyone know if there are more releases to come from them? We're missing Amy and Damask Love?

Anyone know if there are more releases to come from them? We're missing Amy and Damask Love? Amy Tangerine was dropped from AC around the same time Shimelle was. Looking at the brands list on the AC website, both Damask Love and Obed Marshall are no longer listed. So I am guessing they are no more as well.

Oh okay... what a shame. Like our Royal Family, they must be in a 'slimming down' phase

I hope this is not the finished product for these phrase thickers as I spot an error on the second page. That's pretty glaring too! I didn't look at them closely the first glance, because I've realized that I do NOT use those thicker words and while I love the arrows bits and bobs in between the words, it's still not a good use of my budget (oh dear, can someone find my budget for me please?)

These look a lot like designer papers that JoAnns carries. I find that looking on them online I think-meh, but sometimes in person, they look a to better.
Got excited to see a Woodlands paper. Was not excited to see peacocks and tigers on a woodlands page. To be fair, we do have peacocks and a tiger about two miles from here in the woodlands(ish) area, but I have plenty of zoo papers.
Lots of pink and pastels.

I kinda wish Vicki would quit making paper so that I quit wanting them! Lol! I don't need it of course, but I do like it a lot! The others don't interest me. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, kitbop, I don't use them either. Too repetitive and generic for the titles I prefer for my pages.

Thanks craftymom101 for showing us the new releases. I only saw a few sheets across all the collections that I might pick up but overall, nothing really grabbed me. Which is good for my budget.

Jen Hadfield Flower Child - I like the theme but nothing really interested me. Vicki Boutin Where to Next? - Vicki Boutin is my scrappy weakness. I think it's pretty versatile for a travel line. There are 2 papers I don't like and I still have to go through the embellishments but I'll be placing an order for some of this. The typo on the word thickers is disappointing and hopefully corrected. I sent AC a message on Instagram. Maggie Holmes - Woodland Grove - I'm a sucker for black paper with mini polka dots, so that sheet is in my cart. Easy pass for the rest of it. Heidi Swapp - Set Sail - This isn't a theme I can use and the papers are not my style at all. Bo Bunny - Brighten - this is also an easy pass. Crate Paper - Gingham Garden - I like this more than I expected and might consider a few papers for the B-side. Paige Evans - Blooming Wild - I watched the video linked earlier in this thread. During the flip through, every other page was either perfect for fussy cutting or stitching. It's more of the same but at least it's intentional this time. I did like the chipboard circles - they would be great for embellishment clusters. craftymom101 thanks for posting the links!!

I like the Jen Hatfield line for some of my childhood pics. I'll probably pick up a few pieces of the collection. I was actually a competitive roller skater when I was very young so I love the skates!
The rest I can pass on.

Like everyone else has said, I am not blown away. I am seeing lots of repetition. Usually I cannot resist Vicki B, but there is a lot in this line that I can skip over. I am usually a paper collector, so it is quite something for me to say that I am overall more interested in the embellishments for these collections. I think I prefer the new releases coming from Simple Stories. There might be a few sheets I pick up here and there, but I won't be picking up any one collection in its entirety.

Vicki Boutin: For those who say VB papers are hard to work with - have you tried watching her Friday Night Lives on FB or Youtube? She is a great presenter and will use her newest collections often. The recordings are available to watch online at no cost.
I find her collections easy to work with and really enjoy her Friday Night Lives and her virtual classes. For the weekend classes she puts together full kits with her collections and then offers a class to make an album, layouts and cards. It will run at least 20 hours over a weekend and is recorded for replay. The last one also offered two prep sessions the week before the event. The cost is usually less than it would cost to buy the whole collection at retail price.
I've learned a lot from her and her papers are my favorite! Though I'm not really interested in the travel theme, I will buy a lot of this collection because Vicki does take the time to make sure her collections are not overly themed.

I have not seen the Lives, so will definitely have a look. I think some of her papers scare me in terms that they are not the typical papers I use. However, I have a nice stack of layouts using some pretty “loud” papers that I love. What worked for me is these loud papers really complement pictures that have colors that would fight with the typical papers. They worked so well together that they are some of my favorites I’ve done lately.

the vicki boutin line is my favorite. i love the bold colors. her patterns sometime challenge me but i usually end up pairing them with solid backgrounds.
i like jen hadfield’s nostalgic feel and i’m going to give it a go as well.
there are bits and pieces from other lines that i would probably purchase at Joanns. i’m just not that inspired.

Jen Hadfield - Flower Child: Overall, not a fan of this collection. I will probably buy the puffy flower stickers and the Far Out, Jiving, and Greenery papers. I'm confused as to why American Crafts chose to mix metallics in this collection? The flat stickers are silver metallic and the foam stickers are bronze mettalic... usually, collections stick with one metallic tone.
Vicki Boutin - Where to Next? I love all of this collection and will probably buy all of this collection. We travel a lot and I will use this collection for so many projects! I especially love the frames, stamp set with the camera, and all of the Thickers and stickers!
Maggie Homes - Woodland Grove: I like about half of this collection and will pick up bits and pieces. I love the alpha Thickers, a few of the papers, and the mini puffy stickers. I am not a fan of the charm pins and I have a hard time using products like this on my layouts.
Heidi Swapp - Set Sail: The colors of this collection are beautiful and exactly the colors I love to scrap. Like most of Heidi's collections, I wish she offered more embellishments, but I will pick up most of this collection, except for the ribbon and notebooks.
Bo Bunny - Brighton: I usually don't gravitate towards Bo Bunny, but there are quite a few elements of this collection I like. I love the rhinestone kit, alpha Thickers, acetate sheet, and puffy stickers. The papers are not a must-buy for me.
Crate Paper - Gingham Garden: This collection doesn't wow me. I probably won't buy any of this collection. Too pastel with not enough contrast.
Paige Evans - Blooming Wild: On the flip side of Gingham Garden's pastel collection is Blooming Wild! This collection is BRIGHT. I can't work with her collections exclusively because of how bright they are, but I do love to mix and match her collections with other collections from my stash. I LOVE the Alpha Shapes (something new!), milk caps, alpha Thickers, a several of the papers.
I know a lot of these collections look like similar collections from previous releases, but I am so thankful this hobby still cranks out new collections every few months!

Maybe I should ask on another thread, but as much as I like these lines well enough, I’ve yet to see a non-themed line with red. I went to a scrapbook retreat and had some pages that definitely needed a paper with a red pattern and I’m not finding much in my stash. Can anyone point me to a line that is not valentines, Christmas, school, etc… with red?? Desperate!!

Hopefully we start seeing some sneeks of those soon. I would suggest looking at Paper House Productions. They have some very pretty red watercolor papers in a variety of patterns, and their red woodgrain paper is one of my favorites.

Thanks for sharing...pass on most for me, but I am intrigued by the VB black foundations paper. Maybe some of the B side of HS Sail for the navy shades. Honestly would be fine if I never ever saw another floral paper in my life.

I'll probably buy a big bunch if/when I can catch them on a good sale at JoAnn. But otherwise, I can live without them.
I won't lie, some of the Heidi papers are calling out to me, but I can resist for now.

All Vicki, all the time (or, at least most of it.)
All the others I’d take bits and pieces.

I'm very late to this thread but since they're only just now showing up in the Joann stores maybe not so late... I've already used up all of Paige's Bloom Street making cards (actually bought and used it up twice) so I'm not unhappy that this collection is somewhat similar. I love the cheerful colors. If it is in Joann I might take a closer look and choose a few papers and some die cuts to make some cards.
But scrolling through the other designer's collections quickly, mostly just looking at the paper pads, it's a pretty dull and uninspiring lineup for me. Yawn. Not much to catch my eye.
