I've had a nice T3 hairdryer for years but it's getting long in the tooth and I need to replace it in the next few months. I got a coupon from Ulta for 20% off Dyson, and I also have $120 in Ulta rewards, and I'm considering the Supersonic Hair Dryer. With the discounts, it ends up being "only" about $225. Is it worth it? I'm not interested in the Airwrap (and the coupon doesn't apply to it anyway). LOL Update: Famous last words. I never did buy the dryer after this thread, but I bought the Airwrap today during the Sephora sale and I think I'm in love. I am *terrible* at styling my hair. Literally can do it like two ways. I have always sucked at it, so assumed the Airwrap would be beyond may skill level. But for whatever reason, I decided I wanted to try it. I watched a couple YouTube videos and then headed to Sephora. As soon as I got home, I wet down my hair and tried to do some simple waves, like I'd usually do with a curling iron. It didn't really take any longer, my hair has so much volume (in a good way - my hair is fine and usually lacks volume), and the curls looked good. I didn't use any products so it's kind of falling out, a few hours later, but still... way better than it would have been with a curling iron. AND I used low heat, which never worked with the curling iron, so it's far more gentle on my hair. Looking forward to using it in the morning and trying something different. AM I FINALLY GOING TO LEARN HOW TO DO MY HAIR??? lolololol

My stylist bought one last fall, and loves it. And I really like the way my hair looks after my cut and blow dry with this dryer. DH bought me a knock off of the Dyson for CHRISTMAS. It is better than my old one, but not Dyson performance level.

I have this dryer and I love it. I have super thick hair that literally takes days to air dry. I can blow dry not on high with the diffuser in less than 15 minutes. That's unheard of with the other dryers I've had.

I have one. Thin wavy hair and it dries it better than any of the other hair dryers I’ve had. I’ve had it for 4 years and it’s still going strong.

I have one and it cuts my blow drying time by at least 1/3. My stylist owns 4 curly salons and she stocks ALL the stations with Dyson hair dryers. She said she’s never had to replace one yet, and it’s been about four years.

My hair salon switched to them last year and all the stylists rave about them. I’m considering getting one as well.

I’ve had one for about two years. I would buy another one for full price in a heartbeat if it died.

DIL has one and it's really nice so I was thinking about it but couldn't pull the trigger on the $400 price tag. My stylist said she loves hers but it wouldn't be worth it for me because I'm not drying 10 heads a day. Fair point.

One of my DIL's has the Dyson dryer and I use hers when I visit there. It's a really damn good hair dryer, but I just couldn't spring for it for myself. Never tried the Airwrap. Thanks goodness. I might be swayed for that one.
