I know several people who are swearing by these things lately. I tend to be very skeptical about "miracle" cures, but I also like to be open-minded.
Do any of you use one? I'd be interested to hear your experience. Do you think it makes any difference? Or is at all bunk?

They are pretty but I don't buy any health claims. They are so small usually. I just can't see a chunk of salt purifying anything.

That's pretty much what I think. How can what's basically a night-light bulb cause it to release any special ions? But, yet... several people I know well swear by theirs.

I have one and I noticed the other day that the scented candles around the lamp have lost their scent. My son and my cat's allergies seem to be better when the lamp is on.
