The flatware thread made me think... my mom expressed a while back that she wanted spoons with long stems, like the ones you get at DQ. We've never been able to find any. Other than raiding DQ for the plastic variety, any ideas where I could find some? I try to look whenever I'm in that section but always come up empty handed.

Iced tea spoons have long handles, is that the kind of spoon you're looking for? Try searching amazon for iced tea spoons

They are called iced tea spoons. Google with that name, and you will find lots of options.

Have you tried looking at Replacements.com? The kind of spoons you are looking for are called iced tea spoons: HTH!

I don't have iced tea spoons either and have been watching for some. Not actively searching, just keeping an eye out. My flatware is stainless but I doubt if I'll ever find a pattern match. I am hoping to find some plain iced tea spoons that will blend.

OMG! That's exactly it! I've never heard of iced tea spoons, so that definitely makes the task of finding them easier. Thanks! The peas really do know everything! My mom might be getting an extra Christmas present this year!

I had looked at it a couple years ago for some pieces for my mom's set and we never followed through with getting them. I'd completely forgotten the name of the site.

I would also try EBay. I think it is quite a bit cheaper than replacements.com

I bought mine at a kitchen store. Not sure what it was called but they have them in some malls. Mine don't match my other silverware but that doesn't bother me.

My new flatware set didn't come with iced tea spoons, so I kept the ones from my old set in the drawer - they are close enough to the new set, and I wouldn't be without them!

I don't even know what silverware pattern my parents have now. I don't think it would matter because these spoons would never be matched with the others, so I'll just try to find something pretty.

You might also find them listed as Ice Cream Sundae Spoons or Long Drink spoons in Canada. Iced tea isn't as big a thing in Canada as it is in the US, so they might not be marketed under that name. The Bay has them
