I pretty much used up a kit - it had papers, 2 sheets of alphas, 2 sheets of diecuts. I've made at least 10 layouts, probably more, from it including 5 tonight. There's 2 8.5x11 papers left, a handful of scraps and diecuts, and partial alphas. I've moved the leftovers into stash and am calling it done.

I am currently struggling with whether to give myself permission to use only the papers I really kind of like out of the freebie 6x6 pad I'm working to vanquish to make cards. It's really a pocket scrapbooking pad. Each piece has cutaparts on the b side, but many of them just don't work for cards. I've picked out a SLoC sketch that yields 9 cards/3 6x6 sheets and there are at least three or four sets of three I really like and maybe one or two more that are ok, but some of the papers are either just plain ugly or somewhat attractive but hard to use. It's ok to cut them into their b side cutaparts, use the ones that work for cards on the cards and recycle the others, right? That would count as using it up? Crazy that this is so hard!!

I don't feel guilty about throwing out the last letters from an alpha sheet because I'm never going to have a use for the random assortment of Q, Z, J's, and whatever other letters I end up with, and I think this is sort of the same. You've used the bits that are useful, it's ok to get rid of the rest.

7 pieces of that pad worked down into two Sheetloads of Cards: I have three more sheets picked out to do that bottom one again. I did figure out I like more of them when they're paired instead of tripled. But I also decided that I didn't need to allocate every little bit of it at once. I can just keep working it down until I decide I'm done. At one point I thought maybe sketches that used 1 piece for 2 cards would use it up faster than those that used 4 for 8...then I finished my coffee

I thought that was a great way to use up alphas!

I’ve finally made the move to start using my OA Christmas stash. I have several lines hoarded for years . I’m finally cutting into them to put them in albums.I really do love them still-such a nice vintage aesthetic.

Life is too short to use paper you don't love. Let it go. Toss them or put them in a donate pile. Two sheets are already there. Four are hanging on by a thread, but no longer inspiring me in the slightest. Whenever I try to pick a SLoC sketch for them, I get distracted and start thinking about my semi-formed plan for the next freebie 6x6 pad from sb.c!

I used an entire roll of washi. I’ve started using them in my Hemlock & Olive daily journal to distinguish each month. Such a good feeling to see cardboard at the end of a roll!

I finished an old BG alpha last night. And I'm *this* close to finishing an SS sticker book, I'm down to 41 stickers, excluding the alpha sheet.

I used up an Echo Park collection kit this weekend - papers were down to just scraps so I've moved the remaining stickers and die cuts into my stash. And have pulled out a Carta Belle collection kit to work with next...I think this one might be harder...I don't seem to have too many photos that work with it.

Not exactly using or using up, but I went through a lot of my stamps today to find appropriate encouragements that would fit on 2"ish wide "happymarks" for a charity. I found a bunch of sentiments that I've never used that will work well, and stamped them all onto a sample bookmark to remind myself of my options. I stopped myself from buying new things (if my resolve doesn't waver later in the sale!) and I think this will get me to use some unused/little used sets

I have an empty washi tape roll on my desk today too. I think it's one I've had for a decade, eek. I use them on the seals of envelopes.

In the last few days, inspired by Shakti talking about organizing cards to remake and donate, I’ve used about 70 card fronts that I had saved for upcycling to make new cards. In the process I’ve also used up all of the extra 5x7 grey card bases and envelopes I bought for a commission project, and I’m almost done with the white 5x7 envelopes I have too. It’s not a size I prefer so I don’t plan to restock when these are gone.

I bought the new Disney lines from Simple Stories, concentrating on the stuff that could be used for non Disney pages, just because it was so cute. And yesterday I found more Disney photos I didn't know I had. Yay!
Since I didn't have embellishments for some of them I had to go deep in my stash. Like, at least 10 years deep. I was really happy to add all kinds of things- Disney stickers, Star Wars stickers, puffy stars, acrylic stars, etc., that have been sitting all that time doing nothing. It really is fun to shop my stash and get those long lost items on pages.

I used up a roll of washi and a sheet of OA labels. (There were only 3 labels left on the sheet, so it felt good to use them.)

I keep checking in on this thread now & again. Thought I would join in the fun. Hoping I can be more active here on the board than I have been.
I normally scrapbook 3 times a year when I do long weekend crops, but I have been in a scrappy slump since October. We lost our last remaining darling kitty and that just seemed to wipe out all my mojo. So I have been focusing on cards. I have actually made over 300 cards since January. I have donated the majority of them, but need to find some other local organizations that would be happy to receive them.
For many years, I have been tracking my supplies (in vs. out). So far this year, I have used up a lot more than previous years of scrapping and occasional cards. Because I rarely use up an entire collection/pack/roll/etc. I try to think in terms of using up the equivalent of something (i.e. roll of tape, paper pack/pad).
In the past 6 months, I have used more than: 17 rolls of ATG 101 sheets of 12x12 patterned paper 56 sheets of 6x6 patterned paper 424 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock 62 4x6 photo matts (cut them down for card fronts) 12 doilies 53+ yards of washi tape
I have also been using lots of stamps & dies and occasionally my embossing folders.
I have emptied a small roll of washi tape, which felt great. Then I had to toss one because it was too sticky and was unusable because it kept tearing and the adhesive would stick the the non-sticky side. Oddly enough, it was a pricier roll than one of the cheap ones. I find that the Recollections rolls that I have had for 5-10 years are still working great.
I have a scrapbook crop/retreat this week and am hoping to actually scrapbook this time around. I think I am so much more productive with cards, but hoping to make a dent in some of the neglected parts of my stash. I am overrun with supplies and really need to make a much larger dent than I already have this year.
