Lovely cards, MDscrapaholic. Are the two on the left using the embossing folder and then the stencils? Top right is stamp and stencils while bottom right is the stencils on their own?

Lovely cards, MDscrapaholic . Are the two on the left using the embossing folder and then the stencils? Top right is stamp and stencils while bottom right is the stencils on their own? Thank you Shakti! The two on the left AND the bottom right are embossing folder then stencils. Top right is stamp and stencil. I have two more stamped to do, hoping to get them done tonight! I'm not a fan of Altenew stencils. I mean, I like these, but in the video, it's a little bit of pink here, then another color there, let's mask this off... I'm all for doing the whole stencil in one color, then moving to the next stencil and using another color, keep it simple. The mixing of colors is what makes them look so professional, but is difficult for me. I really don't have an "eye" for blending inside the stencils. Yet.

Two CS cards with new front sentiments added on top of their cut apart s: Funny, in person I wasn’t sure about the sentiment stamped over the light pattern and figured the little florishy thing was a better choice, but looking at the photo, I might have to make a replacement for that one,

MDscrapaholic, your cards are so pretty! You've convinced me to pull out that beautiful stamp again and give it a go. Mine doesn't impress well in the center, and after 2 messages to Catherine at SCT and two to Altenew, it's never been replaced. So, before I trash it, I'm gonna try again.

MichyM, Try putting a thin piece of paper under your card base where it doesn't stamp. That might be all it needs. You can see on mine, where it doesn't stamp. There's a gap in the outline: Unless you really look, you probably won't even see it. I figure I can draw the line in with a black pen if needed.

Thank you, I’ll give the piece of paper thing a go 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Thisbis how mine stamps without it. If I push really hard on that area I can get some of it to impress, but then the surrounding area’s lines are thick and yucky and the insides of the smaller flowers are just blobs 😠

Oh my, MichyM , that's not a good impression. Did the extra cardstock shim help any? I was scrolling through Instagram last night, and saw a short video by stampitupwithjaimie, and tried her technique to make the two cards below. I was off on my measurements on the card on the left, but got them right on the second card on the right. It was fun! I also copied how she did the inside of the notecard:

Older CS kits finished up yesterday afternoon/this morning The first 8 are 2/3 of the very first kit I bought a year ago. I mis-scored the first set, the fun folds, and eventually ordered new card stock to recut them. The second were supposed to be "box fold." I assembled two before deciding I hated them and setting the whole batch aside. Remade those and finished the other two.
These two say "A long, long time ago," on the inside and I just don't care for the sentiments. I've been holding onto them to try to find a way to replace the sentiments, but today I just decided that someone will probably love them if I donate them or give them away or whatever.

I made summer cards for F&F. Used up old Bella Blvd tropical paper I got at a crop, glitter chevron paper from an even older crop, stamp is from AE SBTM Jan 2019, small flower is EK Success punch, and sketch is Queen & Co Foundation Dies #6. Inside it says “It’s SUMMER!” and 5 summer jokes/puns. My grand nieces/nephews love getting snail mail addressed to them.

I hope it is ok that I jump in and use this thread as accountability! This is the college graduation card I made for my niece. The shaker forms are from Queen and Company, but I tailored them to my neice's college. I took their logo and the mascot paws and printed in different sizes on cardstock. Then cut them out for shaker bits and the champagne bottle label. Attachments:

MDscrapaholic those dinosaurs are wicked cute, but I really love the first card. lisacharlotte what is F&F? I'm sure your siblings will love such cheerful snail mail (and Auntie jokes!). I hope it is ok that I jump in and use this thread as accountability! I'm not sure what you mean by using as accountability, but jump away, the water's fine. Lovely card, thoughtfully personalized. I'm sure she'll love it.

Shakti F&F = friends & family Yes the grandnieces/nephews range from 14 - due in July. 😂 Snail mail for most people now is bills and junk mail. The kids love getting an envelope with their name on it.

So much beautiful work! Love them all. A group of Seattle area crafters got together for a stencil sharing party a couple weeks ago. We all brought a stencil set (or 2 or more). I haven't had time to make most of my stenciled bits into cards, but did get to these two. I can't remember the stencil name, but it's from TE. Then yesterday a friend came over and we played with the Concord and 9th Triple Step Posy stamp set. I made this set...all the same, just different colors. You stamp them stems, then use a second layering stamp for the flower and a third for the flower center. It got a bit annoying as the flower center layer kept rolling up and was hard to lay flat on the paper. I do love the Hello sentiment from the tiny die set that coordinates. I've been overusing it.

So many beautiful cards and lots of great inspiration. I made this card for my crafty bestie. Used the LF pop-up platform for the bottom and top. The tree top is the cloud add on kit. Lots of dies from different companies. She loved it so I'm super happy about that. Her cards and projects are always amazing.

I have been doing thumbnail and not hotlink. Now my picture is bigger. I was worried that again is desktop vs mobile version problems. I could never post pictures with Flickr on my phone just on my desktop. Such of hassle because I don't really use my desktop computer.

MichyM I'm not sure how many hours it took me to create it. I got the idea of the tree on IG but wanted a different theme. Really wanted to use the Spellbinders birds and branch.Started on it on Wednesday night and finished Friday night. Worked on it in the evenings and mornings before leaving for work. I did learned a few things while making it *get a faster drying glue, bearly art glue took to long to dry, if anyone has a good suggestion I would love to hear it * start decorating from the back...haha I had the 70 glued down when I started working on the back wall. Thank goodness for reverse tweezers. Now I want to work on mine 😊

I have Art glitter glue and Bearly arts. Art glitter definitely dries more quickly. It’s is also slightly thicker.
Your friend is going to absolutely love this! It really is amazing!

Got some new balloon stencils from Honey Bee Stamps, and just had to play. I like that balloon with the number. Need to remember to do that with a QK Revolution stacking balloon die set.

I finally finished the third card for the Gina K class for C&CD. Of course I didn't follow the instructions. I did have trouble lining up that black outline for the bottom flowers. I really like the black outline. It really makes the pink pop!

They do align, But because some of the sections are so thin, it's easy for them to get tweaked a bit and then when you try and match them up, the curves aren't exactly right. If you try gluing it on in sections, you can correct it as you put on the top outline layer. I love your versions MDscrapaholic . Great job lining up the images with the Mod Fruit bowl set MichyM . I really want to play with that set more. I think the oxide bird cards are lovely - gives them a very vintage-y feel. I accomplished a handful of cards this past week. This is the Hero Arts Bee Florals stencil and die set. Then I finished the Spellbinders SCT March class. I changed the cards a bit. Used some different colors, skipped the shaker and used a different hello sentiment die. I've been loving this hello die (you can see I've used it multiple times already this month). It's from Concord & 9th (Triple-Step Posy Print Dies)...very small die set, so the price is nice. Lovely cards! I really like the top set with the bees and florals.
