This tool looks interesting, but I do see some similarities to other tools, which makes me wonder if there will be lawsuits in the future against Sizzix over this tool. For those who want it, I recommend getting it sooner than later, because lawsuits can make a tool disappear.

So this whole stamp platform thing boils down to the HINGE? Boy, have I got thoughts on that...
Unfortunately, I'm not a judge nor do I understand the case law on this.

Even homemade ones. She did Don terribly over that. She just did a knock-off of a letter press. Not sure how she ever got a patent to begin with. I will never have one of hers, and have cooled waaayyyy down on buying Hero Arts stuff since they partnered with her to make a black platform in 2020. Although a quick google search seems to show that is no more. |

I looked over a couple of the legal documents and the platform seemed to be part of the patent and lawsuit as well. I also don't understand how that "stencil adapter" is supposed to work, so you'll have to let us know more about it once it arrives, don . |

I hound the YouTube video. Looks like the machine is actually made for Sizzix’ layered stencils. The stencils have small holes at the top and they fit onto platform’s holder. Great idea. I don’t have any of their stencils so it wouldn’t be something I’d get. I do like that it can be used as a stamp platform. In your face Petunia woman.

Looking at the vids, I'm amazed they didn't design the lid to accommodate clear stamps on one side and cling stamps on the other side.
