I'm not. I'll be honest, the graphic didn't grab me. I do like Mindy Eggen and Meghan Andrews though. I don't send enough holiday cards and have plenty of holiday stamps as it is. I need to revisit some threads about card donations.

I am a lover of the birds, but that doesn't even I don't much like that one.
I haven't ever worked with steel rule dies...is that to allow cutting of multiples at once?

I’m interested. I have never seen steel rule dies so I had to Google. Sounds like you can cut multiple sheets of paper at the same time. Not sure how that would work with my Big Shot.

Looks like the steel rule dies are the old Sizzix dies!

I think the price is good. You get goodies and 3 classes for $65.
I'm going to pass on this just because I have so much holiday stuff already and I really want to join the Pinkfresh holiday event.

The bird is cute but not something I especially want to make or send, and I have plenty of poinsettia, foliage and snow products. I assumed that the *steel rule* die description was a mistake - aren't those the thick ones? I can't imagine getting 13 of them in a class kit. I guess maybe to cut multiples...? but it's a no thanks from me either way.

I'll be passing on this too. I'd much rather spend more and do the holiday event in November. The description and pics really don't do much for me and I've got plenty of Christmas supplies that I like better.

Another sneak. Now I'm on the fence. They seem pretty generic dies.

I too think “steel rule” may be a mistake. Those are the chunky ones, and the description just says standard die cutting machine. I would think they would be more specific about the machines if it was in fact the thick ones because machines like the Gemini can’t cut those.

I think I'll pass too since I'd like to sign up for the Pink Fresh holiday event in September.
But those are nice dies, interested to see what everyone creates.

Skipping only because I don't do holiday cards (although since Costco ended their photo service, that may change). I think it is a good value for the $.

I signed up for it because of FOMO...seriously I like the instructors and may learn something I can use my other supplies with as well.

I already have dies to cut winter branches, a layered cardinal, layered poinsettia, pine cones and ovals. And Heaven knows, I really don't need more dies to cut nearly the same things.
If I could watch the classes without buying the dies, I would sign up. Would love to see different ways to use what I have.

Skipping only because I don't do holiday cards (although since Costco ended their photo service, that may change). I think it is a good value for the $. I immediately reconsidered after I wrote that since I may start doing holiday cards. I think the shipping at $10 must be subsidized because if I order any other kit, shipping is $12.50. I wanted to get another kit or two, but shipping jumped to $22.50 and $27, depending on what I added. I wrote to SCT and was told they would refund if shipping it turns out to be less, but I don't know if I want to risk that.

I'm doing Christmas in June, in that I'm having a garage sale on the 9th & 10th & maybe the 11th. I have a lot of Christmas decorations for sale, I'm just too old to be climbing around on ladders.

It’s a decent price for a class that includes dies and stencils and makes 7 different cards, but. I’m surprised that the dies are steel rule. They can cut multiples at a time, but they tend to have less detail than the thin dies. I really prefer wafer thin dies, both because they offer greater details, and for storage.
If I were to take the class, I would probably use stamps, dies, and embossing folders that I already own and just adapt.

No, I’m not signing up for this one. I have plenty of Christmas sets and know I’ll be tempted by Stamptember to buy more. Plus I want to do the PinkFresh holiday event.

BTT to see who else is joining in.
I received my kit in a timely manner, but it seems that some people in the U.S. are still waiting. The dies are not steel rule, but the regular thin dies. I was actually disappointed with that because I was hoping to use the dies to cut felt/fabric. The stencils are a thicker than other stencils I have so I like that. There is "homework," but it hasn't been posted yet and the class is in a week and a half. Not impressed with the timing.

I caved a while back and purchased the class. I just checked and the homework has been posted. I'm not sure why they waited so long to post it. Also, wish they would communicate via email about it being posted. No one has time to keep checking the class link.
The sneak peeks look cute though!

Did not do any of the homework, just watching the live. Will probably rewatch (speeded up) and make the cards at a crop later this year.

Well I did most of the die cutting, but I enjoy watching then creating later. I actually thought I would be out of town this weekend, but it’s next weekend I will be watching the classes between cleaning and packing the RV. I really liked the first instructor, Meghann. She has a nice style and soothing voice. She does say ‘ok’ a lot I like her cards and can see making all three of the.
