I've always had a problem with my feet and ankles swelling in the summer. I know I don't drink enough water and I'm working on that. This year it is the worst it's ever been. My feet are so swollen its mortifying me. I know it's also from being overweight. I just worry that it might be a sign of something else really wrong. I would love to know if anyone else deals with this and anything that might help!! Yes, I have this! It has been the worst this year. I talked to my doctor about it, and she added a dieretic to my blood pressure meds. She also said it can be a menopausal side effect. The meds have given me some relief, but I still have swelling when I am on my feet a lot or when I have too much salt in my diet. I hate it, I wish I could get rid of it completely, most people don't understand how uncomfortable it is. My DH and I are joining a fitness club and we are going to work on eating healthy and losing weight, I am hoping that helps!
