Along with my insane amount of everything else, I have an insane amount of Thickers. I used to buy them up at Tuesday Morning, Big Lots, Ollies, and every other closeout and discount store I could find. And I bought a ton full price, too- I remember the huge display at Archivers- so fun. And then American Crafts had that huge online sale... So I have about 3 milk crates full of them. Have you seen the price of them lately? Holy moly, I'm glad I stocked up on them when they were much cheaper.
Do you still use them? I use them on pretty much every layout. I have a recent addiction, however, to the smaller sized Pinkfresh and Doodlebug puffy stickers, too. I'm in love with the Doodlebug ones- so cute and just the right size.
I know there are a lot of people that do stamping or diecutting, which would be a heck of a lot cheaper in the long run, but I just love the speed and ease of just plopping them on. Adding glue to the old chipboard ones is annoying but I still do that, too.
Anyone else use Thickers? Or are you smarter than I am and save your money for something else?

Yes! I have a three dresser drawer full of them. I love them on layouts and cards!

Yep! I LOVE a good set of Thickers, especially phrases…foam, or the puffy ones like Vicki B does. I usually buy 2-3 packs of the ones I really love.

Yes - I love Thickers & use them on almost every layout!
I know I could make titles with my Cameo but Thickers are just easier since I don't always have my computer & Cameo ready to go.

My philosphy in scrapping has always been if I like or love it I use it. I don't care about age or style. Not just in scrapping, but also in most other areas of my life. I'm a curator and a NP so values on age & style were beaten out of me long ago. We're not in Jr. High anymore. Use what makes YOU happy! My collection of alphas is pretty broad, stickers, thickers, PP, CS, Stamps, dies in all kinds sizes & fonts. Variety is the spice of life.

I love them but rarely buy them because they are expensive and it's hard to justify the cost given I have dies and stamps and a Cricut...

Add me to the TM Thickers stashers. But, I am really running out of them. They are just too expensive. Although, I did buy some royal blue Thickers or knockoffs, I can't remember, for my grandson's hockey layouts.

I bought a few sets and used them on layouts, but I’m apparently the exception here. They were nice to use on the rare occasion, but they were never my preference. I’d rather create my own title with my electronic cutter and a font of my choice.

I used to be a huge Thickers user but I got tired of finding them popped off of my layouts and laying in the bottom of the page protector. I learned to add adhesive/glue to them but that kind of took the fun out of quickly slapping them on the page...

I have 8 boxes of them. I used to just buy them to buy them, but now I really have to need a specific set to buy them. Like a cruise to Alaska in July. I did buy the set that goes with Heidi Swapp's Set Sail.

I know I could make titles with my Cameo but Thickers are just easier since I don't always have my computer & Cameo ready to go. I’d rather create my own title with my electronic cutter and a font of my choice. Count me in on the Thicker fan club. I do a lot of scrapping away from home and if I don't plan well enough in advance it is just easier to grab some Thickers and go. Like mbanda mentions, there is definitely an ease factor to the Thickers. That said, l also agree with scrapnnana , there is something to be said for the custom cut title. I did this a lot in an album I did for an Alaskan cruise and I love the way it looks. Dare I say, I just need to be a little less lazy and get back into cutting some of my own titles again. I do like the look of different fonts on a page, so I guess I can have it all .

Yes, on occasion. Despite the two wire locker baskets still full of them in my craft room, I stopped buying Thickers almost a decade ago due to lack of stickiness, an inadequate amount of my frequently-used vowels & consonants, not always labeled as acid-free/lignin-free/archival, & price per pack (especially considering the above). Instead, I opted to invest in dies (& a few stamps) in basic/usable fonts which can be cut using any paper & layered for dimension.

I don't have a huge stash, I am more a fan of the puffy stickers.

Thickers are my favorite way to add titles to my pages! I use Thickers on almost every layout.

I never liked the thickness of them (I know, I know - it's in the name! LOL), as I vastly prefer flat layouts. I mostly do what you do, scrapnnana and create my own titles/word embellishments on my Cameo with my own fonts.

I love Thickers! Although at the price they used to be compared to now, I wish I had collected more...I have maybe 1/2 a milk crate's worth. Fortunately I'm a ridiculously slow scrapper, so they should last me til eternity.

My collection of alphas is pretty broad, stickers, thickers, PP, CS, Stamps, dies in all kinds sizes & fonts. Variety is the spice of life. This sums up my alpha stash pretty well. I have Thickers in my stash, and I will still buy them if I find a set I love, but I probably have more FJ alphas than anything, and I still regularly use flat stickers. My biggest weakness now is probably the pre-made words sets.

I love thickers and use them on most layouts. I am also a fan of the Doodlebug small puffy letters and am still building my collection of colours. My main complaint about thickers these days is that too many of them are multi colour or metallic. I have trouble using multi-colour and I have enough metallic. I want more single colour - orange, yellow, red and purple particularly. I don't like the phrase ones (eg Simple Stories) as they are the same trite phrases over and over.

I love Thickers and rarely met a thicker I didn't want.
In fact if anyone is purging I got shipping!

I don’t have many thickers. I use old CM flat alphas because I have a lot of those. I also generally don’t like fussing with alphas and prefer pre-made titles lol.

I've always liked the idea of them, but when I go to use them I often seem to run out of the letters I need, the colors aren't right, or they don't want to stick to the paper. I bought a lot of them when Big Lots had a decent selection of cheap sets and then I got several sets from the Not Just for Boys kits early on, but what I have left are stored where I don't see them easily so I also forget about trying to just use them up.

I have so many glitter ones from back in the day and I have trouble using those. I just put them on a layout yesterday and decided that they were too flashy, so I took them off and used more muted gold ones.
Remember when everything was so glittery? Not just the Thickers, a lot of paper had glitter on it, too. You don't see glitter very much anymore.

Yes, I still use them. But boy, you sure are right about the price of them now! I haven't bought any for awhile now - am trying to use up lots of what I already have. I don't have an electronic die-cutter so Thickers really are handy to use.

I do enjoy Thickers but sometimes I forget about them because I use my Silhouette for titles quite often. When I remember them I love how quickly I can get a title done. Now that I'm thinking about this I need to take a look through my Thickers to get reacquainted with what I have.

Well at least papercrafting without Thickers would be very sad for me.
