What entices you to make an online purchase? Free shipping? Free gift? Percent % off?
For me, It's free shipping. I hate having to pay shipping fees. I try to wait until I meet the minimum order to get free shipping requirements.

My biggest driver is free shipping especially if it is a low or no minimum purchase required.
Percentage off is good but only if it significant (like 20%+).

Free shipping and percent off are kind of equal to me because if I’m not getting free shipping, the discount better be close) or better) to what I am paying in shipping.
But several other factors come into play also. I don’t buy *just* because there is a discount or free shipping.

Agreed about the discount - 20-40% off, especially at stores that don't often discount, is more likely to push me to buy. Free shipping is nice but it depends on how much they usually charge for shipping and how much I want to buy vs what the limit is. If I have something big heavy and/or expensive to buy free shipping might be more of a push. Gift with purchase is not my thing at all. I am picky about what takes up space in my life. I prefer companies who don't force you to take them. Freebies are unlikely to drive me to make a purchase.

The products I want are in stock. Bonus is if there is free shipping or a coupon code I could use. But I do not hold out purchases for percentage off or free shipping. I order when I need items or to place pre-sale orders.

I generally prefer online shopping because I live in a rural area without stores near me. I check first to see if the items I want are all in stock, then for lowest price, discount and shipping cost. I prefer to buy everything I want at the same store so it all arrives together. It annoys me when I can only find some items on my list and not all. Or when I order and then two days later I get a notice that one item is no longer in stock.
I used to like the idea of pre-orders with discounts, but recently I was burned on that when I waited months for an order because 3 items were on backorder. I ended up cancelling the backordered items so I could get the rest of my order. I hated that my cc was charged and I didn't have my products.

You mean besides the Peas? lol. Percent off and freebies are always enticing to me. I'm quite the sucker for "sale," "clearance," and "limited." Though the latter is not as enticing as it used to be. For example, Simon Says Stamps Stamptember and Diecember don't suck me in like they used to. Free shipping is good, but isn't as much of an enticement as a large discount.

Free shipping first. I will even buy stuff that I didn’t intend to buy. I’m a sucker for free shipping. Also, percent off but it has to be a decent amount. I roll my eyes when I see a 5% off “sale”.

these days, shipping. shipping has gotten outrageous with some companies. since crafting more of an indulgence and not an necessity, i refuse to pay a lot for shipping.

Free shipping is my biggest enticement. I always have a cart going at multiple shops, waiting for a good deal. A decent percentage off (not 5%, 6%, or 8% 👀) is a close second, especially if it covers the shipping cost. Free gifts are nice but if I want the free gift that much, I’ll just buy it.

Free shipping. I'm more apt to purchase if there is free shipping. I've been known to back out of ordering once I realized how much shipping was. Sometimes shipping is almost as much or more than that I want to purchase.

I normally only buy something I need for the current project I am working on or something I saw on a YouTube process video that I liked a lot. Then it's just a matter of who has the first discount, whether free shipping or % off, just some kind of discount.

I go for the product. Often through FOMO if I have seen the latest and greatest demo'd. Even if I have no idea how to use it If I have any willpower to leave the website without clicking on PURCHASE NOW, I will grab the exciting thing up if the vendor announces a substancial % discount. This is the case with boring essentials like glue and foam dots and page protectors, too. If I am purchasing something else from the vendor, I will add on the extras to make up the minimum purchase.

Without a LSS & big box stores now stocking only in-house brands, all my scrapping-related purchases are online. If must have items are in stock, I prefer 20%+ discount off &/or free shipping. Free gifts are not an incentive, since they usually aren't something I'm interested in or would use (& increase the shipping cost of my order)!

I'm so used to paying shipping that free shipping is not really an enticement for me, I'd rather have a discount. If it's something that I absolutely have to have I'll buy it at full price (and pay shipping), but most things don't fall into that category so I'll wait for the regular sales my favourite Aussie online lss has. I use these sales especially to buy page protectors and albums.
I'm rather miffed sb.com are no longer doing the small % off basically everything all the time. I usually wait until there are deeper discounts on the things I most want but add some of the nice to have things to my order as well. Even though the discounts were tiny, every little bit helps, especially as I could get most of what I want to buy from one place, I like that they restock (helpful when I only place a couple of orders a year), I've liked all their private label products I've tried, and their international shipping is really reasonable.

Not chinagirl but I’m an Aussie pea and I shop at the following:
Craftonline.com.au (bi weekly sales so sign up to the newsletter and keep a wish list, large range, not the cheapest but get a lot of brands in) Scrapboutique (smaller range, have up to 40% off sales like one at the moment that ends on 30 June, I buy all my 12x12 doodlebug albums here during their sales) Scrapdragon (lots of lawn fawn, fills in gaps of others, also have sales on semi regular basis)
If you google scrapbooking and search by Australian sites I’ve pretty much bought from all of them over the years and have had no issues 😁
Basically whoever has what I want and at the cheapest price gets an order from me
Sorry to butt in but wanted to pass on about the sale at scrapboutique just in case they had something you were after 🤗

I only do online now, ever since we moved to our current home. We’re not close to anything. Thankfully, I purged very little of my stash before moving, and I did take advantage of Tuesday Morning (pre-COVID). I don’t buy online as often these days, but when I do, I try for any discount that I can, including free shipping. What makes me actually decide to purchase is how much I want the product.

I mostly use Scrapboutique, but like lg I’ve bought from a lot of the Aussie online stores. The only thing I wish she did is more collections with paper by the sheet, a lot of the collections she carries, especially things like SS and Pinkfresh, are only available in collection packs/paper pads.

I am lucky enough to have a LSS, but they usually only get a handful of the single sheets in any given collection, and sometimes only paper pads, which is why I still do a lot of my shopping from SB.com.

Decent priced shipping. I’ve noticed ACOT and scrapbook .com both have lower price point shipping for smaller orders (like $4.99). That really makes pulling the trigger worth it when I want a few things right away. Otherwise I like piling my cart full and waiting for a good discount code. ACOT does great ones around holidays. I’m holding out for 4th of July weekend lol Scrapbook .com does entice me with good freebies sometimes but they more often just make me pull the trigger on what’s already in my cart vs. starting one.
ACOT usually wins out because of their rewards. And for whatever reason due to the shipping roads USPS uses from MI to my house, I get my orders from them in record time. That is a big plus too.

I usually Preorder at ACOT rather than wait for the products to come in the store because with their Preorder you get 20% off.

Price of item and cost of shipping combined. A good price with free shipping likely means I complete purchase.
