That's a good update. Thank goodness it's not a root canal issue. Your dentist needs to be more responsive, because leaving a patient in pain is just wrong.

Ugh, that is so frustrating! I have had a few root canals and crowns, and I have never had the issues you're having. I hope your dentist is able to sort it out soon. Having a root canal means that hat the nerve has been removed so there is nothing left, other than the outer shell of the tooth, so there should be no pain at all. It is more likely it is the actual crown that has been fitted.

Ugh sorry you're dealing with this. At least it's not the root canal and hope your dentist can replace the crown.
