I am late in checking on the lists and every item I click, nothing happens---does that mean everyone has their wish list filled? If not, post the link again and I'll attempt to shop again. Mine is still there as well. Here's my list in case anyone needs it: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/26GA37NRS4S1G?ref_=wl_share Thanks!!

A little something has been sent to all! Have a great school year! NOTE to buyers: I noticed that Amazon has buried the gift address below my regular address. So I had to read each address to find the correct one! I just got home and got the post-it notes from my list. Thanks so much! It means so much to have some supplies to start the school year. My students will love the bright colors when they us them while reading.

How is summer almost over already? I am starting year 24 (or is it 25?- I honestly don't know!) teaching. Last year, after all but 1 year of my career was spent teaching middle school math and science, I was moved to continuation high school. I honestly thought I was done for. Little did I know it would be the MOST AMAZING change EVER! I totally love my new job. My kids needed me as much as I needed them and my new admin? LOVE HIM! He's supportive, positive, loves the kids probably more than I do even. Anyway- I get to teach all the math and science (all new curriculum this year after I prepped it all last year- ugh! but new stuff to teach!) AND all the fun stuff- P.E., Cricut Design Space (the kids make shirts and stickers and tile ornaments and shrinky dinks and burned wood stuff and rhinestone bling things up), 3D printing (the kids follow tutorials using Tinkercad to make objects that we 3D print), Multimedia/film production (kids make "movies" like public service announcements and selling our school) and this year I'm adding an x-tool laser to my classroom for my kids to use in Cricut and 3D printing. I'm so excited for this year to start! I actually went into my room last week and put all the tables and stuff where it all goes. My floors are so sparkly after being stripped and waxed! Anyway- my list is all "nice to have" stuff and nothing is a dire need. I'm so very thankful for the peas and their support of teachers! www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/NGJ27QZJEAI0?ref_=wl_shareIf you'd rather give to my Donor's Choose for crafting tables in my classroom, you can give here. Currently all donations are doubled on a match offer. This is a big project ($1019) so it's going to take quite a bit to get it funded but $10 becomes $20 when it's matched! www.donorschoose.org/project/space-to-craft/7473128/?utm_source=dc&utm_medium=directlink&utm_campaign=teacherhub&utm_term=teacher_597220&rf=directlink-dc-2023-07-teacherhub-teacher_597220&challengeid=21813647BIG HUGE THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING TEACHERS! ❤️ I've made a donation toward your classroom crafting tables. Have a great school year!

My niece will be a first year 3rd grade teacher in North Mississippi this year. The school is Title 1 so very little assistance from the school district (not that any teacher ever gets enough support!). If anyone would like to help with basic supplies and books, it would be most appreciated! New 3rd Grade Teacher Wish ListAn amazon package is headed to your niece for delivery on Friday, the 21st.

I posted my list last year to my FB and got one thing. I've seen coworkers post their list constantly and get a ton of things donated. I am just not comfortable doing that!! I'm at the point 25 years in that all of ,y things are outdated and I just can't continue to pour money into my classroom. My salary has actually decreased the past three years due to cutting benefits and so more out of my pocket. I feel stuck and not able to get out and do anything different until I get fully vested in my states retirement. Ugh. Anyway, here is my list if anyone feels inclined! www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3NC1KOKZEMZ0C?ref_=wl_share

Normally I'm like you - not comfortable doing it. But after everything that's gone down with education in this state and in my district, I have no more fucks left to give. And it's been pretty successful! I say share it. Those who don't want to help can scroll on by. Others will impulsively buy something because they're in the mood and that's all good. You know this isn't a selfish ask. You're doing what you do for the kids in your classroom.

compeateropeator - Thank you so much for the 2 bug books. My kids love this series of books and since they're decodable, they can actually read them. I really appreciate your support!
This is my second year participating in this thread since it's my second year as a FT reading interventionist and I'm amazed at the generosity of everyone on this board to send teachers items to use in their classroom. Two people, who never met my students, sent me items this year that my kids will be so excited to use. Thank you!

Thankyou to compeateropeator for the scissors! Anyone who works in a school knows how difficult it is to find sharp scissors. These will be wonderful! I also received a bulletin board boarder but it didn’t say who it was from. It came in a separate box (huge box) with a blank gift receipt. Whoever sent it, thank you so much! We let the students decorate the bulletin board in one of our rooms last year and they did an awesome job so I’m hoping they’ll do an equally impressive job this year!

You have one more thing coming but I don’t think it was scheduled until later this week. Thanks for all that you do for the school system and kids in our state. It is very much appreciated. ETA sorry for the reply in the quote, I am on my phone and screwed up. 😁

elaine , can you please check your PM when you have a moment? TIA!
Last year many of you were so generous to my ds who was a first year teacher. Unfortunately, there was declining enrollment at his school and most of the 1st year teachers didn't get their contracts renewed. He has 2 interviews at 2 different schools tmw. When he gets a job(oh please be quick) may I post his wish list? Teachers should get paid a much more than livable wage. It's ludicrous.

So sorry his contract wasn't renewed. That isn't a thing in the state I'm in. How stressful to not know that you'll have a job the following year. They can transfer you to a different building within the district or a different grade if needed, but your contract isn't yearly. I hope that he gets the job that he would like quickly. Schools are interviewing around here for the fall so I'm sure it will happen soon.
