So far, an additional pair of wireless earphones. I have been listening to books via audible as I unpack boxes and work in the yard and these are the best earbuds! They have a soft rubber ear piece that loops behind your ear. I specifically wanted this type because I kept dropping the other kind that just sits in your ear. With these, I can climb around up and down the ladder and bend down when doing yard work and they have never once fallen off. They are super comfortable and I forget that I have them on. Since they are offered on a prime deal, I decided to treat myself to a second pair.
I also got some miscellaneous stuff like a couple of smart plugs for the house so that I can have Alexa turn on my living room lamps in the morning.
Right now, I am contemplating buying another small SimpliSafe security package so that I can add two more cameras. I really want to keep an eye on that cranky neighbor that came into my backyard that day. And with another camera added, I will have video proof for the police. The outdoor cameras are normally $189 each and this package has two outdoor cameras plus a keypad, keychain, and two window alarms for $269. I don’t need the main base unit, but the package deal is cheaper than buying the two cameras that I want. I can put the additional keypad in the laundry room by that door so that I can easily see if the alarm is armed before opening that door to go outside. The extra keychain alarm would be nice to have to wear as a temp necklace when working outside since it has a panic alarm on it.
I’m still perusing the items, but don’t need anything else really.

Can you please send the link to this, dewryce ? How long would you have backup power? This is the one we got. Several reviews state that it lasts them 3 8-hour sleeps. Don’t let the bipap review worry you, it uses much more power. It is recommended that you turn off the humidifier to get that much use out of it. We really wanted to get a larger one since we’ll both be using it, but the cost is just too much right now. A lot of them have a Prime deal going. Thanks very much. I hope you never need it and if so, that it serves you well! I would def. want to look into a solar charger as well. We are at the end of a string of power lines and lose power quicker than other areas at times. I wonder how much those cost.

I got quite a few things on my “save for later” list. But my favorite purchase is a mini chainsaw. It has excellent reviews and I’m always wishing I had something small and light weight for hacking off branches and taking down saplings that spring up in our semi wooded backyard. I figure I can also use it to threaten DH when he doesn’t move fast enough when I want something done. 😂 I'm sure you will love it. I have a mini chainsaw. I've had it for more years than I care to think about. I use it all the time. My only problem is that mine is so old it's corded, so I have to stay within 100 ft of the house. LOL! We also have four other chainsaws of various sizes, so sadly a cordless mini is not in my future.

When I told my DH I wanted one, he just rolled his eyes at me. Ha. Guess who uses it the most? We have a small backyard with many big tall trees. High winds blow down small branches every now and then. I love being able to cut the branches into manageable sizes. Best purchase ever. You will love it.

You’ll love the heat press. I use mine way more than I thought I would when I got it. Do you have a link for the heat press? I couldn’t even tell you what brand it is, I probably got it five or six years ago. It’s a basic 15”x15” clamshell t-shirt press but it works great. If I was buying one today though I would get a swing away model.

We rarely lose electricity, we are in a newer area with lots of our power lines buried, if we do it’s usually very brief. So those days of rolling blackouts killed us. But with our power grid and no backup (thx Texas) there is a good possibility it will happen sooner rather than later. Scrapper100 the link is in the original post above, hope that helps!

i'm going to get another photo negatives scanner. i was not happy with the one i just got a couple of days ago. i think DH might get a 3-d printer. You might want to try the Photomyne app. You can do the scan with your phone and a lit background (I use a blank Pages document). I think it's about $12 a month, but you can start and stop it. The app also does photo scans and it's incredibly easy to use. You can easily change the date of the photo from the date that you scanned it to the date that the photo was taken. That is important to me since I spent so much time labeling photos over the years! The photos are easy to import into Photos. I think the quality is pretty good as well--I used it for DH's retirement ceremony photo show and even scanned some photos from his college yearbook.

Added to my list of stuff that I bought even though I said no more yesterday! More sublimation blanks and a gadget for holding the cups while putting vinyl and things on them. A few other things- I WILL not look any more!

I trimmed our 30 foot pine tree tonight with a skill saw…a chainsaw would have been even better!

I do have a new sawsall that I have used to trim some branches at my old house so I’m wondering if I really need one. I bought the blade for branches when I bought the sawsall and it worked well. I don’t know why but I also want the mini chainsaw. How do I justify that? Anyone have both?

I’ve had some camping items in my cart for awhile, so I got the ones that has some discount; bowls, some mugs, cooler ice packs, cutting board with nested utensils. And some T-shirts/bag/ears for an upcoming Disney trip. Nothing too exciting lol. Unfortunately no sale on any coolers I was looking for and I waffled on the fold up wagon.
But on the mini chainsaw topic, I just found out today how the chainsaw was invented and I’m never going to get over it! 😬 (Basically an medical aid for difficult childbirth/splitting the pelvis open faster). 🫣

I just got an email apologizing that I did not get the invite. They offered to sell me one for 399. I’m guessing you are talking about the tv. Isn’t that the original price? I clicked several of the invite only deals and got offered the face cleaner thing. I didn’t want it, I just clicked to see if I would get any offers. I did want the tv and didn’t get it.

Yes, they sent out apologies to everyone who requested and didn’t get the $99 t.v. invite. Both dh and I got the sorry email. Besides offering to sell it at face value, they did also include a promotional $2 credit towards digital purchases if you click the button, so go ahead and do that, karenk. My husband missed that part and had to retrieve his email from the digital trash can to claim it. I have used digital credits to buy kindle books and rent videos to show my students.

Did you get to try the one you received? i purchases the Slide and Scan a few days before Prime and it arrived damaged so i had to return it. then i started looking at the Scanza because it's can be plugged into a Mac. then i was torn between the two and now i don't have either. i watched a million reviews on Youtube and all these kinds of devices function the same so now i just have to choose one.

I’m sorry that I wasn’t more clear. Photomyne does scan negatives as well. That’s what I meant about the lit background. I haven’t tried it, but I believe you can try it for free—you just can’t save it to your photo library with the free version. Here’s the FAQ page if you want to check it out. But no pressure! photomyne.com/faq/filmbox-how-to

He has a couple other bigger gas powered saws but he really likes that little one for smaller jobs. He also has a Sawsall tool for work but it serves a totally different purpose.
