The bill, Ban Stock Trading for Government Officials Act would bar stock trading and stock ownership — even in blind trusts — for members of Congress, the president, vice president, and senior executive branch officials, including their spouses and dependents.

Tell that to the military,  social security recipients, medicare, SNAP... 

No, not sure, I haven’t read the whole bill yet. I will once I get a break at work, it’s been crazy. I saw a few articles that said that it didn’t.

I do agree that members of congress should not be profiting from inside Info that they have - I mean that’s what they sent Martha to jail for.

McCarthy impending Impeachment threats..

Another misstep by the not so honorable senator tuberville. Withholding hundreds of military promotions risking the United States security. Has not donated the monies he has earned received for not working, in DC, as promised, to Veterans' groups. Now, although some the fault of his father, false information about his father's military service during WW II.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) got busted for apparently lying about his father's service during World War II.

But a Washington Post fact checker found some false elements in the senator's account.

Charles Tuberville’s tombstone lists his highest rank as 'TEC 5' or technician fifth grade, an Army rank at the time that indicated technical skills but not combat leadership," Kessler wrote. "According to a 1944 Army memo, TEC 5 jobs were limited to armorer, cook, tank driver, light truck driver or tank mechanic. Tuberville would have needed to be a sergeant to be a tank commander [but his report of separation listed his rank as TEC 5]."

"That said, it’s possible that at some point in the war as a TEC 5 he commanded a tank if the unit was strapped for leaders," Kessler added, "and he was deemed capable enough by his superiors."

The elder Tuberville's draft registration card shows he entered the service on his 18th birthday, and although he earned a Purple Heart after he was lightly wounded in Germany, he did not earn any Bronze Stars, let alone a remarkable five of them, but it's possible that he indeed took part in the D-Day invasion.!/b]

We are not questioning his heroism or service."

No deal for Hunter Biden..... He is holding his not guilty plea.. pending reevaluation. She is concerned about the structure of the deal. Not satisfied to taking plea deal which might affect other cases later in..  Hunter though this would be the end of cases.  Judge quested that it might not cover all and he could face more charges...

Interesting that the House, whatever committee, wrote a letter telling the judge that she should not move on because it was all political.  What the hell do they think their letter did?




It seems that the issue is the immunity that is the supposed agreement as it stands for review.

Mitch McConnell zoned out in the middle of a press conference earlier today. He was standing there just literally staring into space and did not respond.

Sen Bassaro(?) is a medical doctor and was standing right next to him, spoke to him and escorted him to his office. McConnell returned and stated he was ok

DeSantis explained that there are a lot of issues that they disagree on, like the time RFK Jr. said people who don't believe in climate change belong in jail. But there would be room for him in other parts of his administration.

Speaking to the streaming channel OutKick, DeSantis was asked about whether Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would be someone he'd consider as a vice presidential running mate. DeSantis explained that there are a lot of issues that they disagree on, like the time RFK Jr. said people who don't believe in climate change belong in jail. "Yes, on the medical stuff, I'm very good on that, so that does appeal to me, but there's a whole host of other things that he'd probably be out of step with," said DeSantis. "So, in that regard, you'd say, okay, if you're president, sic him on the FDA if he'd be willing to serve or sic him on CDC. But in terms of being veep, there's 70 percent of the issues that he may be averse to our base on. You know, that just creates an issue."

RFK Jr. told Joe Rogen, falsely, that ivermectin, a de-worming drug, was suppressed by the FDA as part of a plot by the government to push COVID-19 vaccines and get them emergency use authorization.

In June, he tweeted he would "hold the agencies and individuals responsible, and we will compensate the vaccine injured."

He also linked "vaccine research" to HIV and Spanish Flu.

He's pledged to gut the FDA entirely if he's elected as president. The FDA requires regulations and standards for medicines before they're sold to the broad public.

In an NBC News interview with Brandy Zadrozny, Kennedy claimed that the FDA boards are nothing more than "sockpuppets" for the pharmaceutical agency.

He also wants to seriously gut the National Institutes of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as "and the expert advisory panels of doctors, scientists and professors they rely on," wrote Zadrozny.

I still think it's possible that he had a mini stroke, or transient ischemic attack (TIA). The Senator/Doctor would not have been able to determine this without imaging equipment, and I doubt that he has a CT or MRI machine in his office there, so his saying he was ok would indicate no more than that he didn't need to be rushed out by medics. Roughly a third of people who have these have a full-blown stroke later.
