August 10 - 14. It's free and virtual, and Crafty Al mentioned it on her channel. Hosted by Brandi from Stamp Me Some Love. Here's her link: cardmakersuccesssummit.com/?affiliate=callmecraftyalI might try this! I don't recognize all of the teachers, but I do recognize a few! ETA: I grabbed a "free" ticket, and then they ask if you want IMMEDIATE ACCESS (for a price, of course). "Grab the VIP All-Access Pass for $99 $39..."

I find the format difficult to use. Sometimes I can't access the videos, even though I've signed up with my free ticket. I get a not available yet message, even though it is the correct day. And for some presenters, there is way too much self promotion.
During a previous event, someone here posted links and I was able to find the videos and we discussed what we saw. That event was worth my time only because of the Peas.

Yeah, I think I attempted to do this last year, and pretty much gave up. C&CD events have spoiled me LOL.
It'd be nice to watch a few though, but there's also a lot of free stuff out there that we can access at any time.

I signed up for the free ticket just to try it out. I'm not sure I'll be able to follow everything live but its free.

Newcomers might want to read threads from previous "summits" to clarify how the 24 hour free watch period works and the difference between the recorded lessons and the Live Q&A sessions that you have to catch at a specific time. The quality of the presentations is all over the place but there's usually some good stuff. And you will get a lot of emails trying to sell you paid tickets, then when you want the creators' bonuses you will be signing up to be on their newsletter lists... If I have time later I'll link some of the previous discussions so you know what to expect

I did the CMSS in the spring and the Get Organized one a few months later. I have purchased the all-access at $40 or $45 because I value being able to time-shift events and watch when it works for me. There is NO WAY I would do that at the "full price." It is VERY DIFFICULT to figure out how to find where you're supposed to find the classes on their site. I sent a message to customer service that first time because I couldn't figure it out and they responded pretty quickly. Don I know just gave up.
I agree that some instructors leaned way too hard into the self-promotion -- Catherine Pooler's presentation during the Get Organized one seemed to focus solely on how their patterned paper tells you what colors of card stock and ink match, so you're organized (though maybe that's just how I remember it)! That Get Organized summit was one that definitely was enchanced by Pea discussion.
The other Cardmaking one had a fair number of Cricut/SVG-based classes I skipped, but there was plenty of good content I enjoyed. I did see a great class on using Prismacolors with watercolor to color stamps that I really enjoyed. I still haven't tried that technique, but I did get a smallish set of Prismacolors I'm enjoying learning to use. Crafty Al showed a SLoC not available elsewhere. All-in-all, I think my $40 was better spent on the cardmaking one than the organizing one.
I am considering this one, but it starts during an audit at work and ends while I'm away on vacation. I would absolutely have to time-shift it significantly.

I was watching Justine Hovey yesterday and she mentioned it, but I'm pretty sure she said everyone was making holiday cards. I am not so interested in that. But now that it has been mentioned that you will get a lot of emails and solicitations, yeah no thanks!
ETA: And I get turned off with too much self promotion. I get that you want to promote your stuff by using it, but just use it, don't tell me 20 times it's from your such and such collection.

I usually skip the bonus content so I only have to unsub from the organizer but any extra emails are a nuisance. And the ads at the beginning of each video drove me bonkers because there were only about 4 sponsors the first year so I saw the same ads over and over and over... and they weren't even companies I was interested in.

Ardyth is doing square stencil turning so if you're not into stenciling that's an easy pass. She said she is using the Stencils360 tool but also has versions without. Justine is sharing tips for mass production. Her content is hit or miss for me and Ardyth already has a great playlist of her tips for this, including the class she shared at the Xmas summit a couple of years ago: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGLSuElJ3ywh5o2X64xveUc-hH0Xd15mICrafty Al's Sheetload is usually worth watching but I'm pretty sure I can see how she's cutting her patterned paper for this one without any need for a guide so if I try that out and it works I don't really need to sign up for that. I skip all the cricut stuff and only watch a few mixed media things even though I don't care for actually doing mixed media. If I see anything compelling closer to the event I might get a free ticket just before to minimize emails. The paid pass does come with some discount codes for shopping so that can help make it worth getting, or can just get you deeper in the hole, throwing good money after bad to justify having paid for the ticket...

I've done a couple of these so far. I haven't paid for VIP access and I felt that overall, they were worth the time investment for me but I was glad not to have paid. I am signed up (free ticket) for this one.
My method is to look at the class descriptions ahead of time and prioritise the ones I think will be the most interesting/useful for me. I don't care for the Live Q&A so I give that a skip (I just hate that format).
And yes - I get a ton of emails afterwards and recently promoting this upcoming one. Some I've stayed subscribed to, others I haven't.
I would enjoy a Twopeas discussion thread along with the Summit - the Getting organissed one was definitely worthwhile

I feel like several of my former favorite YouTubers are more like infomercials now 🙁 I used to watch a few card makers all the time. Now their videos are more about promoting lines of different companies. I got my free ticket, but I’m pretty picky about what I spend my time watching so I probably won’t watch all of them.

I'll probably get a free ticket just to check it out. I seem to recall from last time that all of the videos are unlocked right away in the morning on the day that they're being presented. So, I could watch any of the Saturday ones I was interested in first thing in the morning, even if the schedule said it was going to be presented at 2 pm or whenever. I think I took an hour or two each morning to just watch the ones I wanted and maybe fast forward through the ones I wasn't as interested in. I didn't attend any of the live Q&A's, though.

Yes, the organizing one was like that - all of the day’s videos were unlocked in the morning, but some people got confused because the Live Q&A might not be scheduled until 2pm and so they thought they would have 24 hours to watch the video starting at 2pm. Nope - everything locks back up again as the next day’s videos go live the next morning. The live sessions are all available any time (and IMO are seldom worth watching) so it’s best to prioritize watching the recorded sessions you want to see first. I fast forwarded quite a few last time and only watched a couple properly each day. And no live Q&As for me, thank you. They’re too cringe, but I guess if you’ve watched the recorded video and have questions you could ask them.

This is coming up in a couple of days I'm waiting until the last minute to sign up to minimize emails. Has anyone gotten the all access pass and already watched the videos? Any reviews?

I got the free ticket to check it out. Hate the multiple emails trying to sell the VIP access In the FAQ they actually suggest setting up a separate gmail account to catch all the annoying messages they send! You know it has to be pretty bad, that they must have had a lot of complaints... lol. I just signed up today, last minute, to minimize the time they have to drive me crazy.

I don’t want to miss any of my favorites but also don’t want to try signing up again if it did work the first time.

I watched three of them. They are okay - I like better to craft along with the video, and I don't have anything like what they're using. The wheel is a cool idea.
Maybe next time I'll plan better (if that's possible).

I did one of the card summits a few months ago. Maybe it was longer, not sure. I got some free files, and learned a thing or two, but I enjoyed the demo by Karen Burniston the most (and the discount code she gave out to those who watched). I bought a few more of her dies. She’s one of my favorite vendors. I also enjoyed a Copic coloring class. I didn’t really enjoy the rest of the summit enough to want to sign up again, and I got sick of their emails. They have a summit for something or other on a frequent basis.

This type of platform doesn't work for me, so I don't sign up for them. There are too many sessions happening on each day, and I work, so I end up getting very frustrated if I can't catch the sessions that I really want to see. I also find many of the instructors aren't good teachers. The only VIP ticket I've purchased is the Holiday Cricut Craftfest, which was last year. I think that was worth it, since I got it for a good price, and I liked more than half of the sessions.
Their platform must work for a lot of people, though, because I'm seeing more and more people and companies hosting them.
