I have a friend who’s considering buying one. She does really great graphics on her Cricket. She and a friend are starting a business so the giant Cricket would make sense.

That's a No from me. Too expensive for me. My craftroom is too small for it. Also it does what the Explore does just bigger. But not the extras that the Maker does. I'm sure there's crafters out there who could use this machine. Just hope Cricut doesn't regret going for such more expensive machine. I would really like my Maker to still work since I HAVE to use Design Space.

Wow, that's a BIG machine. And a big investment. Probably aimed at people with a business like you all said. If I ever get an electronic cutter, it would be something small like a Portrait or the Cricut Joy.

I realize Provocraft mishandled the Cricut and the current owners of Cricut needs to appeal to a wider audience. But I miss Provocraft's designs and that they marketed the Cricut as "a papercrafter's dream machine". Now it's all vinyl, t-shirts, mugs, etc. which personally I have no interest in. Anyway, here I sit with multiple machines and if they make it so I can't use my Cricut Air 2 I will finally have to give up on them.

Scrapbooking and cards. I know there's lots of crafters that don't do paper. I've been asked how in the world I put my cards together if there's no transfer tape.
