What theme or kind of paper do you have too much of?
For me it is Christmas. I have enough Christmas paper to last for the rest of my life. I'm not even that into Christmas. I take very few photos except for opening presents. How did I get this huge collection of Christmas stuff?! So this year I'm being extra picky. I'll just pick a few papers and that is it.
I also feel that way about Halloween. I love Halloween. But the kids are old now (13, 18, 20) and only the youngest one dresses up and he usually picks some sports star to be. So I end up using basketball paper instead of Halloween paper. But boy, do I love a good Halloween line. So this year I am going to buy just a couple papers and that is it! Or at least that is what I'm telling myself.
Some themes I always need: boys, games, beverages, beach.
What do you have too much of? What themes or styles of paper are always welcome?

I have too much Christmas paper. It's always so pretty, but then December rolls around and I get busy and feel stressed/overwhelmed by the season and don't end up taking photos because I don't actually enjoy it. I have some paper that has been lurking in my stash for years and I have finally given myself permission to just cut into with abandon to make some Christmas cards and tags. This year, my friend has also challenged me to do a December Daily with her, so I am going to take the plunge. I have wanted to do one for years, but this is the year I will actually do it. I am armed with a list of photos to take and way too much Christmas paper. I'm sure the project will not even make a dent in it, but it's better than nothing.
I also have too much travel paper. At least this is a category that I use, but I need to not buy every collection that I come across until I make a more sizable dent in my stash.
Dare I say that I also have a lot of 49 & Market paper...I am not going to say too much, but I really need to pick and choose what I buy because I am at my limit of their formal, flowery lines. I have made some lovely pages with them, but I think the papers of theirs that are most useful to me are the more basic backgrounds.
Thankfully, I have not bought too much Halloween because I know I don't use it, but boy do I love it. This year I have a couple of photo ideas so I may reward myself with a sheet or two.
Themes that I can always use: general home lines, cooking, books/reading, birthday, and any of the more generic lines that can be used for anything.

IMHO there's no such thing as "too much" paper! I appreciate Bazzill cardstock & classic patterns - e.g. plaids, stripes, dots - in usable color palettes.

patterned paper in general? I tend to use it sparingly and yet I don't seem to buy it that way.
specifics - probably travel paper - I love it, scrap lots of travel pics (mine and my kids), but often don't end up using much of the travel papers...

I can never have "too much paper". I have a lot of Christmas paper.

Currently; outdoor/camping paper seems to be the biggest category.

Cardstock. When I started scrapping 20+ years ago cardstock was the base for layouts and patterned paper was added in small amounts for design. Lots of us stocked up on Bazzill and at that time the company had a great deal of colors. So I’m good for a few more years.

I have way too much farm kitchen paper! I just love it. I ordered most of a collection last year, then while it was on preorder, I forgot and ordered another collection. Oops! I do occasionally rob a piece for the B-side.
I'm working on purging my older Christmas and summer papers that I don't love. I have too much and would like to purchase some newer lines.

For me it is the themes that once fit my life, but now not so much. For example, I stocked up on baby papers years ago, and used alot as my dgk's arrived. But we have not had a baby in our family for 8 years, so except for the occasional Welcome Baby card, no need for those supplies. Toddler lines are next. Havn't been on a cruise for 8 years, yet have a ton of cruise pp, along with a huge bin of general travel stuff--way more than I need to scrap the photos my kids send me of their trips.
I am overstocked on all the themes I DO scrap. But I like to consider those OPTIONS, not surplus...

I would say I have too many floral papers. I belonged to kit clubs over the years and never used a whole kit up. I love using plaids and stripes so used those up first, leaving the florals. I need to start cutting into them and making cards.

Everything. Although my Christmas collection is certainly WAY over the top, just like everyone else - mainly because I scrap Christmas less (don't enjoy it!) but adore the products! What a contradiction... I also can't resist camping/outdoors papers, and have more than I'll ever need, but at least I do use them!

Definitely Christmas and even more so since I started doing December Daily. I am being more picky about what I purchase these days since I already have a big stash.

I wouldn't say I have "too much of", but the most themed papers I have (because they make me happy) are: Christmas, Halloween, Travel and Disney.

All of it. My purchasing style used to rely heavily on “oh, pretty.” I have tons of bright, cheerful spring and summer type paper. I despise the sun and it makes me feel sick It seems I’m the only person here who doesn’t have too much Christmas paper. There are some lines out now that I think will go well with older Christmas photos, whereas nothing I own will really work. So I actually need to purchase Christmas paper.

Little girl paper. I have one daughter who will be 15 next Wednesday. We are firmly out of the little girl phase. To be honest, I always assumed I’d have more kids so it didn’t bother me to purchase it. My sister has four boys and one daughter who is two. Zora will be getting a lot of pages done about her over the next few years!

Christmas for sure. I'm current on my Christmas photos but I have a ton of paper & embellishment.
Also I still have quite a bit of camping paper from when my son was in Scouts. I've already completed his scouting books so I really no longer need it but I have a large stash. We don't really camp either so I doubt I'll have reason to use it anytime soon.
I have a lot of beach & tropical papers too. For awhile we were cruising quite a bit but we haven't been on a cruise since before covid. We do go to the beach twice a year but I still have lots more than I need and I continue to buy more beach collections when they come out with new ones...LOL!

Disney. Blech! I’m so tired of Disney themed supplies. If I ever go back to Disney and make another album I will either not use Disney themed supplies at all or use them sparingly.

I always have too many Halloween and (especially!) Thanksgiving kits.
We have started doing more Halloween/trick-or-treat events over the years but it's still only 3 or 4 things and my oldest is aging out of those things. Thanksgiving is the most low-key holiday in my family where we only get together for a couple hours to eat so I often forget to take a photo of anything or anyone. I try to focus on the gratitude angle of so many Thanksgiving kits but it depends on heavily themed the elements are (while I love turkey, I'm not exactly going to wax poetic on how thankful I am for it this year!).

I probably have too much Christmas paper, but it's the 2nd highest volume of pages I do (travel/vacations is #1), and I have many Christmas's not in the books yet. And in general I have so much paper that I think I could finish all the possible pages I would ever do without needing to buy another sheet - so no themes are welcome..... unless of course they are pretty.

Um, everything! Christmas, fall, halloween, boy, school, summer, camping, florals, Disney, Shimelle, all of it. But, as grammadee says, they are OPTIONS, which I love!

Random paper pads, but I gave away a giant pile of them away last year, so now the pile is smaller...
My MIL gives me 2-3 scrapbook paper pads for Christmas every year, from J's or Hobby Lobby, and many of them are not my style and they pile up.
My biggest theme is Christmas which now takes up two Iris bins (one for paper, one for everything else) but I make a lot of Christmas layouts, so it gets used and refreshed.
I would welcome more fishing themed stuff (not just a random fish icon in a camping line), school that is appropriate for older children, and music. I can also use more paper about reading and books.

Christmas and Halloween, but mostly due to the fact that I bought paper packs when I found them at Tuesday Morning pre-COVID.
I wish that I had been pickier and not just bought them because they were a bargain.

Also Christmas. And probably Halloween. Definitely floral. Good question artbabe. P.S. I could've said October Afternoon. I have 2 artbin satchels of it but it's my "happy paper".

Mine is a brand - Echo Park. Apparently, I'm over it. I have so much, but I am keeping it for the back sides. There are a couple of other brands that I have too much of, but also don't want to part with just quite yet.

I thought my answer was going to be Christmas and Halloween. However, I just pulled some supplies for the upcoming Halloween swap, and I was surprised by how little paper I had left! Guess it is time to go shopping. 😎
So Christmas and camping is my new answer.

While I don’t think it’s TOO much, but the largest paper theme I have is christmas. It’s my absolute favorite as far as themes go. Previously I didn’t scrap much christmas because DW always works a ton in December so holiday related activities were minimal. She retired a couple months ago so I’m hopeful we get to experience a really great holiday season this year! I make a lot of christmas cards using scrap supplies, so while a lot gets used, my buying is definitely more than my using!
Second biggest would be Halloween and it’s only gotten big since 2020-2021. Fancy Pants had a couple really great collections two years in a row. Same with the “pastel-oween” collection from Prima (Thirty-One). EP & SS had good ones during that same time frame, too.
I have a healthy supply of travel related products but I have a hard time scrapbooking vacations/trips, so I don’t ever really make a dent in it.
