Not a bagel fan at all. Not a bread fan in general. I can skip all types of breads, but will eat some once in awhile.

I don’t eat bagel often. Maybe once a year?! To much bread. First choice would be chocolate chip. If they didn’t have that, raisin (not cinnamon raisin), and if they didn’t have that, I would just get a plain one.

My favorite is pumpernickel, but not everyone has that. So I usually end up with an Everything bagel. But I don’t get them that often, because of avoiding gluten because of my psoriasis.

My fave is jalapeno cheddar. I loooove soft bagels... but am now avoiding wheat.

If they are store bought bagels I go for the plain. If we go to the bagel store then garlic is my favorite.

Egg everything, untoasted, with a schmear of olive cream cheese.
But it has to be a really, really good bagel to make it worth the gluten and calories for me.

I picked other as my normal bagel shop does an Asiago works that I typically get if I am getting it fresh with cream cheese not toasted. I am not big on toasted bagels with cream cheese.
If I am getting bagels to eat the next day I only like them toasted with butter so I will get ones with no topping for easier toasting. For these my favorite is a cheddar dill or plain.
The only bagels I really don’t like any way (fresh or toasted) are cinnamon and raisin, wheat, sesame seed, or pumpernickel.
ETA - actually there are quite a few listed in the poll that I wouldn’t like so I guess I am pickier than I thought…no pumpkin, chocolate chip, blueberry, etc. I am more of a savory bagel fan.

The best bagel I ever had was in Greenwich village on a food tour. Everything with more cream cheese than felt physically possible!

Well, I don't eat bagels because that's a recipe for a colossal stomach ache for me but if I do have one (once every 8-9 months? lol) - it's an everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese. If I find a place that has jalapeño cream cheese, even better. I live on Long Island and NY is known for their bagels. They're great... just not all the time. p.s. My kids laugh because they know my "hangover cure" is always my everything bagel with veggie cc and a coke (which I NEVER drink). Thankfully, I do not need to use this cure that often.

The bagel stores around me and where I grew up only have cinnamon raisin.

Prefer New York (usually LI) bagels - sesame with veggie cream cheese from the bagel shop - but will settle for a Maryland bagel when staying with my sister. Unfortunately for me, this usually ends up a once-a-year indulgence when I am visiting in the Spring. Darn it, now I want one…..

My favorite is a salt bagel toasted with cucumber ranch cream cheese. That said, I'm from the Midwest and probably shouldn't get a vote on what's a good bagel.

Not a bagel fan at all. Not a bread fan in general. I can skip all types of breads, but will eat some once in awhile. So jealous, I am an addict and I have diabetes. What I wouldn’t give to not crave bread. I don’t have bagels but once every couple of years anymore, but I still remember one I had about 20 years ago. It had onion and another flavor I never identified with sesame seeds and was so tasty! I always eat them toasted, with plain cream cheese.

If I am going to sin (and make myself mad) I will have 2 poppyseed bagels with a lot of cream cheese. I don’t eat bread anymore but I will sin for Easter or Christmas.

My favorite is pumpernickel- not a choice in the poll. Second favorite is everything. Bagels should never ever ever ever be sweet. They do not include , nor is “French toast/cinnamon crumb” a bagel flavor. They are some other bread product, but not a bagel, in my Jewish world. 😂

Everything bagel, toasted, with butter.
However, Panera used to have a peanut butter banana bagel that was delicious. I only had it once, and it was so good (though that may have something to do with the fact I'd had ~15 vials of blood taken right before I ate it).

Asiago cheese would be my first choice followed by cinnamon raisin followed by plain whole wheat. All toasted with plain cream cheese.

Wow, that's a lot of bagel options! Australians haven't really jumped on board the bagel train. I can't remember the last time I ate a bagel. Maybe decades ago! I do know that it would have been a plain bagel with smoked salmon, capers, and cream cheese on it.
