I watched Miss Carrie with her folded flower cards. I have seen those folds before, but have never tried it. I wish I had instructions for the sizes. Her page says by adding your email the instructions are available. But, that's not the case unless you buy the full priced classes. I haven't had time to watch many so that wouldn't be worth it to me. Are you looking for the specific sizes she used in her examples? There were some issues with the free download according to the live Q&A but hopefully someone can share it with you if they got it. She shared the specific sizes of the hearts and circles she used in reply to someone’s question in the live Q&A too. I can find it for you. The live video doesn’t go away. |

I fast forwarded thru a few videos today. Not much kept my attention. It was an interesting event but overall, it seemed very beginner-ish. I did like that most of the videos were only about 20 minutes. I also liked that all the videos went live at the same time so there was no waiting around for links and classes.
Do they have these events often? I'd never heard of it until someone posted about it here.

Glad I found the playback speed setting in the Zig coloring class today. It wasn’t bad but I needed it to move a lot faster! None of the other techniques or cardmakers today are tempting me. I’ll go see if I missed any interesting livestreams but I think I’m done with this summit.
I spent $25 on a stamp to use with other Halloween stamps I already have, supported a very small business, so I feel Ok about that. They tricked my brain into believing that I enjoy coloring. I’ve been watching PB&J (Penny Black & Jill Foster) Christmas sketch videos all week that have been tricking me into thinking I love to stamp and watercolor. We’ll see if they combine with these summit videos to get me to put away the patterned paper and do some artsy fartsy cardmaking.

I didn't have time to watch any today, but I did find time tonight to make Crafty Al's holiday cards!  Not too happy with my paper choices, but they're okay. |

I liked the organizational summit better. I got more out of it. agreed - I also did a Cricut card summit that I made quite a few cards from. I haven't made any cards from this one yet - I'll definitely do the Sheetload cards and try out the embossing tricks (vellum and adding shimmer paste - I need to buy the paste first though). I'll probably try a spinner card as well. But I'm not really into the mixed media. I did find the colouring class helpful and will apply that next time I pull out my markers Overall - I fastforwarded or didn't finish more of the videos than I watched start to finish and I'm glad I didn't buy the VIP option. (not that I was considering it). I'll probaby spend the next weekend unsubscribing from stuff. |
