I bought those boxes on Amazon too - this week- for storing my favorite collections and kits. As soon as they arrived I plopped some patterned paper in one and discovered to my dismay it did not fit. I went back to the Amazon listing and found the fine print that listed the inside dimensions as 12.2 x 12.2. Instead of cutting off the branding strips, I scored and folded them. Then I left a review on Amazon pointing out that boxes listed as scrapbook supply boxes should actually be big enough to hold paper without having to cut off the branding strip. I'm keeping the 4 boxes but I'm not happy that the boxes are not big enough without modifying the paper. I like the Hobby Lobby boxes mentioned above, but closest Hobby Lobby to me only stocks one or two at a time, so it may take a while to purchase some. So far I only have one.

How did you organize your tiny things? Thank you for this! Those are some great tips. I spent the evening organizing into piles: camping, travel, words, other. I'm not sure that's quite enough. I need to think about this. I appreciate the advice. I org the very obviously themed things by theme. But things that could go on non themed pages, florals, sayings, dots, stars, tags, etc are organized by color. I keep all themed items (paper & embellishments) together. I have a wide Alex drawer for my embellishment color drawers. Top drawer are my warm colors red, pink, orange, yellow, brown. Next drawer are my blues and greens. Next purple, white and black. There are a few items I keep by type- wood veneer, washi tape, letter stickers, inks, cardstock, PL cards These are stored in various places in my room. My recommendation is to organize how you use the item. Not everything needs to organized the same way. You may organize some paper by color, some by theme, and some by type. Only you know what makes sense for how you use it. I saw a organizer describe "relationship" organizing: Family- things that are all the same together (all paper together) Cousins- things that are different but related (organizing by collections or theme) Coworkers- things that you use together (inks, stamps, sprays and stencils together) You don't have to choose one way for everything. Make your choice based on how you think you will use the item.
