Someone is definitely tagging and un-tagging.....simply because they can.
I tagged an old thread, to alert everyone that it's an old thread that has re-surfaced and someone un-tagged it. Frustrating and annoying.

This is what I see on the desk top version on my phone. It’s similar in the lap top too. The second column gives the OP and the date.  So weird... my created by just shows a name on my desktop. I wonder if my settings are different.. not that I ever remember changing it. If that is a screenshot of what you see, It definitely does show the date created. The ones it doesn’t say 16 hours ago or such. |

i don't mind if we get rid of the labeling. anyone who sees the "date created" on the thread line will know that it's old. no need for me to have a label to point that out. besides, i don't care if a thread is old. i like seeing updates or new comments.

I am for keeping it. I don’t often look close enough at the date or who started a post so it is just a heads up.
I have no issues with people updating a thread, resurrecting it, or adding to one and I typically will still open and read the new posts…but it is nice to have just a little visual notice that it is an older thread.
I am not sure why that is considered problematic? If you see the green tag look at the date the original post was created, if it still interests you continue to open it and read the the responses. No different than the political label.
Just my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️

I had to look to see why this thread is still going strong. I'm on my phone here 99.9% of the time, so I don't see them anyway. I'm not sure why they can't just be ignored if they're not working for you. I never see them and my time here is completely unaffected by thread tags. On the rare occasions I'm here on a laptop, I don't even pay attention to them. Is it worth fighting over? Yes! Because this is the peas!  |

The only irk I have about the politicsl label is it is not always used appropriately. So I feel peas are missing out on a good thread because someone labeled it as such. Yes we have definite political threads. But sometimes there is nothing political about a thread or God forbid someone write Biden or Trump or Flag and it gets labeled politics. Ugh. Stupid. |
