These are more of Trump's very fine people www.mediamatters.org/maga-trolls/far-right-message-boards-target-georgia-trump-indictment-grand-jurors-after-their-namesUsers on far-right message boards are targeting the Fulton County, Georgia, grand jurors who voted to indict former President Donald Trump, including supposedly doxxing their addresses, threatening them with violence, and digging up their supposed online presences.
Other users on the message boards also issued direct threats against the jurors. One user wrote that the grand jurors’ names was a “hit list” to which another user responded, “Based. Godspeed anons, you have all the long range rifles in the world,” while another wrote that they were “about ready to go Turner Diaries on these treasonous n***** fucks” (referring to a violent white nationalist book). And another user ominously wrote that the jurors were “committing election interference” and so they “should indeed be careful.”
The supposed doxxing and targeting of these grand jurors comes after users of these far-right message boards have repeatedly targeted entities and figures with troll campaigns, harassment, and death threats.

I posted this Oct 2, 2021 This is great, one unstable leading another unstable prompted by Rudy... Friends of the right-wing lawyer who wrote a controversial "coup" memo worried about his mental health, according to a new report in The New York Times. The report details how John Eastman went from a "little-known academic" on Fox News to meeting with then-President Trump in the Oval Office. *** Soon, Mr. Eastman was meeting face to face at Mr. Trump's urging with the attorney general, William P. Barr, and telling him how Mr. Trump could unilaterally impose limits on birthright citizenship," the newspaper reported. Then, after the November election, Mr. Eastman wrote the memo for which he is now best known, laying out steps that Vice President Mike Pence could take to keep Mr. Trump in power — measures Democrats and anti-Trump Republicans have likened to a blueprint for a coup." *** Just as Trump came to prominence pushing the racist birther conspiracy theory against Barack Obama, Eastman's rise occurred after he pushed a similar smear against Kamala Harris."Mr. Eastman had put himself on the radar of Mr. Trump's political aides during the election when Jenna Ellis, a legal adviser to Mr. Trump's campaign, had shared on Twitter an article Mr. Eastman had written. The article, in an echo of racist questions stoked by Mr. Trump about where President Barack Obama had been born, questioned running mate, could legally become president because her parents had not been born in the United States," The Times reported. www.rawstory.com/john-eastman-coup-playbook/

This youtube is interesting, but I do think TFG is being treated differently. His bail is being negotiated in advance, thinking that means he won't be held like others while bail is being paid... youtu.be/157FJ4eFlo0?si=OAZb0WnIsPSp6AK6** Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers are headed to Georgia early next week to negotiate his bail, sources told ABC News Friday. The legal team will meet with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis several days before the August 25 deadline by which he has to turn himself into a Georgia jailhouse to be booked. His arraignment is expected to be at a later date. The sources told ABC terms of the bond package will be discussed before he reports to be processed. Legal experts have voiced opinions that Trump may be denied bail because of threatening language he has used on the Truth Social account, which a judge may consider to be intimidating to witnesses and prosecutors. But that is considered to be unlikely. www.rawstory.com/trump-fulton-county-2664062140/

Maybe this guy is right.. A former advisor to Donald Trump on Friday said he believes the former president could turn himself in during or just before Wednesday’s scheduled Republican presidential debate in effort to steal the spotlight from his GOP rivals. Osborne said the spectacle of Trump turning himself in would “suck all the oxygen out of the room and then Fox is stuck having to air the debate, whereas you and other networks are able to say, ‘wait a minute, Donald Trump has actually just turned himself in,’ and then there's Tucker Carlson waiting on the steps of the courthouse, able to interview right there.” www.rawstory.com/donald-trump-2664076277/youtu.be/lC9_zOpqydo?si=tvGwAuO6GCbbT9Dx

Fitting in so many ways that Trump was indicted with RICO charges. The article is more about Giuliani, but applies to both of them. Live by RICO, die by RICO www.nytimes.com/2023/08/19/opinion/rudy-giuliani-donald-trump-rico.htmlTrump, mentored by mob lawyer Roy Cohn, always loved acting like a mobster, playing the faux tough guy, intimidating his foes, swanning around like John Dillinger, Al Capone and John Gotti. He told Timothy O’Brien, the author of “TrumpNation: The Art of Being the Donald,” that he admired Gotti because the mobster sat through years of trials with a stone face. “In other words, tough,” Trump said.
As Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen testified to Congress, Trump ran his family business “much like a mobster would do,” using “a code,” letting capos do the dirty work and expelling rats.
“Trump both fetishized mobsters and did business with them,” O’Brien told me. “The way he fetishizes mobsters informs this fascination he has about Putin and Kim Jong-un. He loves ‘bad-ass’ guys who roll like they want to roll. He sees himself the same way.”
True to his longtime practice of stiffing the help, Trump is turning a deaf ear to Giuliani’s desperate pleas, in a tin-cup trip to Mar-a-Lago, to pay his legal bills.

$200,000 seems really low www.nytimes.com/2023/08/21/us/trump-bail-georgia-election-case.htmlBail for Trump Set at $200,000 in Georgia Election Interference Case The move came as it became clear that former President Donald J. Trump and 18 other defendants will be required to pay cash upon being booked in Atlanta this week.
Former President Donald J. Trump’s bail was set at $200,000 on Monday in a sprawling racketeering case charging Mr. Trump and 18 associates with election interference in Georgia.
The move came as it became clear that Mr. Trump and the other defendants will be required to pay cash upon being booked in Atlanta, which was not the case in the three other criminal cases involving the former president.
While defendants have to come up with only 10 percent of the bail amount, even that could prove difficult for some, including Rudolph W. Giuliani, the former personal lawyer for Mr. Trump, who is running out of money because of an array of legal entanglements he faces.

more details on the bond agreement. I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks the rules in the next day or two www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/08/21/trump-georgia-bond-election-2020/The bond agreement — known as a consent bond order — sets strict rules for Trump’s release. Trump is not allowed to communicate with witnesses or co-defendants about the case, except through his lawyers, and he is barred from intimidating witnesses or co-defendants. He is also forbidden from making any “direct or indirect threat of any nature against the community or to any property in the community,” including in “posts on social media or reposts of posts” by others on social media. “The defendant shall perform no act to intimidate any person known to him … to be a co-defendant or witness in this case or to otherwise obstruct the administration of justice,” the agreement says.

Poor thing... Why won't the PAC pay my legal expenses?? Trump attorney Jenna Ellis asks why MAGA PAC isn’t paying for her Georgia defenseBY MIRANDA NAZZARO - 08/21/23 5:52 PM ET “I was reliably informed Trump isn’t funding any of us who are indicted,” Ellis wrote in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Would this change if he becomes the nominee? Why then, not now? I totally agree this has become a bigger principle than just one man. So why isn’t MAGA, Inc. funding everyone’s defense?” Ellis was responding to a separate post from Matt Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, who wrote, “The sooner we unify behind a nominee that sooner we can use recourses to fund the defense of everyone indicted for being a Trump Republican.” thehill.com/regulation/court-battles/4163154-trump-attorney-jenna-ellis-asks-why-maga-pac-isnt-paying-for-her-georgia-defense/

John Eastman turned himself in this morning. $100,000 Bail posted.. Interesting background (Wikipedia).
In 1989, prior to attending law school, Eastman served as the director of Congressional and public affairs at the United States Commission on Civil Rights.[26] He was also the unsuccessful 1990 Republican candidate for the United States House of Representatives in California's 34th congressional district.....
Following law school, he clerked for Judge J. Michael Luttig at the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and for Justice Clarence Thomas at the Supreme Court of the United States; he then was an attorney with the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, specializing in civil and constitutional litigation. He later joined Chapman to teach constitutional law, was appointed dean, and founded the school's Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence.[28] ....
*** NOW I have a question... IF any part of the Georgia case ends up at SCOTUS, will the UNhonorable Justice Thomas recuse himself??!??!??

Are we surprised?? Former President Donald Trump's decision to turn himself in for booking at the Fulton County Jail on Thursday evening was not a coincidence, reported The Guardian on Tuesday — rather, Trump deliberately negotiated a day and time with prosecutors that would guarantee the most people would be watching it on TV. "The former president – seeking to distract from the indignity of the surrender by turning things into a circus – in essence had his lawyers negotiate the booking to take place during the prime viewing hours for the cable news networks," reported Hugo Lowell. "Trump has posted on his Truth Social platform that he would be arrested on Thursday, but the prime-time scheduling was finalized in recent days after his lawyers met with the Fulton county district attorney, Fani Willis, at her office on Monday." According to the report, Trump may also have plans to "extend the coverage of the proceedings by speaking afterwards in front of cameras and reporters." www.rawstory.com/trump-surrender-ratings/#cxrecs_s

Upcoming hearing requested by Meadows .. Georgia secretary of state Brad Raffensperger has been notified that he will be served a subpoena to testify in a court hearing involving former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. Raffensperger had not yet received the subpoena Wednesday morning from Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, but he has been told he would be summoned to provide testimony. *** U.S. District Court judge Steve Jones will hear arguments the matter on Monday morning, and Willis is expected to argue that Meadows and Trump acted far outside their official duties by pressuring Raffensberger and state officials to help overturn the 2020 election results. Meadows has also asked a federal court to issue an order preventing his arrest in Fulton County until after that hearing. www.rawstory.com/brad-raffensperger-subpoena/
